The media often refer to them as a couple that doesn't fit together. Why? Easy. He is Andy Biersack, the lead singer of Black Veil Brides, the tall tattooed guy who wears eyeliner and has pierced his lip and nose. And she is just Violet, the art student who's afraid of the dark as much as of falling in love.

For everyone, they're a couple who is more than different. She's got that good girl faith and he's the typical bad boy who everyone is afraid of, the guy who will supposedly steal her innocence and turn it into ashes. But Violet and Andy ain't like that. He truly loves her and she, well... she adores him.

"Dark meets light" is how Biersack defines their relationship each time an interviewer questions him about it. Andy sees himself as the closest thing to dark, as someone who's overshadow by the blackness; and he sees Violet as the light itself, with her wavy brown hair framing those big brown eyes that tend to look at him as if he was the one who caused the sunrises every morning.

When they met in Paris at the musée d'orsay, Andy could have sworn on his grave that he would never date the girl who cried over the Van Gogh painting. He found it quite amusing to be honest, soft giggles even escaped from between his lips. But when she turned on her heels and faced him with those teary eyes, he couldn't help the lump on his throat that forced him to approach the girl and ask her if she was okay. And so he stopped belonging to himself to belong to her. It only took a simple smile, hear her sweet voice thanking him to later presented herself as Violet; to realize that he no longer had to keep looking, that he didn't have to look for love in all those girls who looked like him because in front of him stood a girl who was his complete opposite, but who made him feel something none Juliet or Scout ever made him feel.

She didn't have any tattoos except from the little 'A' she got on her wrist a couple months ago. She didn't have any piercing either but they shared their love for art and music, and a bunch of inside jokes that make Andy laugh in the middle of the night. She's not the biggest fan of rock, but when it comes to Black Veil Brides she sings every song. She's not wild but calm; she enjoys tea instead of alcohol and prefers to cuddle Andy than going to a nightclub. And Andy doesn't like cuddles, but he loves how she nibbles her lower lip between her teeth when she smiles, and how she jumps into his arms as soon as he gets off the stage. He loves how his skin, crowded with draws and black lines look against her clean one; how his callused thumb feels against her soft skin.

But most of all, Andy loves how Violet brings light into his life.

"There's always light and it never goes out" Andy says referring to his girl; to the one he enjoys to have wrapped around his arms. "She's my fucking lighthouse"

His lighthouse. The truth is she's more than his lighthouse; she's his fucking full moon. They've been dating for two and a half years of brighter night skies, of less sorrow and pain. Even if they had fight over stupid issues such as a broken toaster or a messy bedroom, Andy and Violet end up kissing each other within seconds.

But sometimes, the fights doesn't resume on kissing and loving nights shared in a tour bus, because sometimes the fights are much bigger than those silly things. Sometimes, the fight are as big as a wasted Andy, a crazy ex girlfriend, cheating rumors or media harassment.

"Do you love me?" Has once asked Violet, rumors about Andy getting back together with his long-term girlfriend Juliet Simms had been spread and Violet's confidence decreased. She was afraid. She couldn't lose Andy, not without ending up with a heart ripped in a half and a sea of tears.

Andy didn't answer, instead he pulled the girl closer to his body until Violet's head could rest against his chest, so she could perfectly listen to his heartbeats.

"Do you hear it?" Violet nodded. "It beats for you. Call me a cheesy motherfucker, but it's the damn truth".

Violet looked up and smiled, letting Andy to wipe the tears away.

"I love you"

"I love you too, baby" Andy whispered, leaning closer to place a briefly kiss on her pink lips. "Don't ever fucking doubt it"

"Only if you don't fucking doubt it either" The girl replied, chuckling.

"Are you shitting me?" He laughed, kissing her lips one more time. "We're Andy and Violet. There are no doubts when it comes to our love".
