Acceptance

It was a quiet afternoon in Chamomile Valley, the sun shined upon the grassy fields and all the wildlife were all changing and settling down for upcoming winter season

Though this didn't stop a certain bunny from enjoying the days outside, alongside his newest best friend, Chiko

A couple months passed since Chiko first moved into the village and Krash couldn't be any happier

The two always stuck together and would always have a blast everyday with any new activity they carry out

As happy as the bunny could be, both Dokko and Barry would be even more happy

Both noticed the bunny's happiness gradually increase after Chiko's arrival, and felt that nothing could ever upset him again

Although...

Dokko: setting down a plate of sandwiches on the table I have to say, I've never seen Krash this happy ever since his first birthday here

Barry: me neither, Chiko really must mean a lot to him sits in a chair and prepares tea

Dokko: well of course he does, Chiko brought him back when he got lost in that forest

Barry: I still feel bad for the little one, living all alone in there.. glances out the window

Dokko: I'm sure he's grateful that he found Krash, the two practically helped each other that day sits in the other seat and grabs a sandwich

Barry: yeah, good for them smiles and slides a cup of tea to the elk

The two sat in silence for a while before a thought came into the bear's head

Barry: hmm.. his smile fades a bit

Dokko: something wrong my friend? Looks at him

Barry: well, you remember how you said that nothing could possibly ruin Krash's good mood?

Dokko: mhm, I mean, even a shortage of carrots didn't upset him since Chiko was there to comfort him bites the sandwich

Barry: yeah, but... pauses and looks down a bit how do you think he'll feel when he finds out we aren't his real parents?

The elk hears and gags on the sandwich a bit

Dokko: w-what? Looks at Barry

Barry: the thought just hit me... do you think he knows?

Dokko: well, um... scratches his head and averts his eyes I.. I don't know...

The bear gets up and walks towards the window, where he could see the bunny and the hedgehog pass by, both we're laughing and running around

He sighs and glances at the elk

Dokko: looking towards the floor well... when do you think we should tell him?
