"Bonjour, how are you doing?"

Esteban Ocon smiled happily as he greeted his best friend, Mick Schumacher with a hug, seeing the smile on the face of the blonde boy.

"Hey, I'm good." Mick laughed at his best friend, hugging the tall French man with happiness.

Esteban squinted his dark eyes at his best friend, a sly smirk slowly starting to form on his lips as he took in how different his best friend seemed to be since he noticed how the German almost seemed to be glowing.

"So, who's the girl?"

"What?"

"Who's the girl?" Esteban repeated himself, his smirk standing tall and staying still whilst he began to wiggle both of his eyebrows. "You're practically glowing, Mick. Who's the girl that caused it?"

A bright smile filled the face of the Schumacher boy, the mere thought of her making the biggest of grins forming, a blush pink color dusting over his cheeks, neck and ears.

"She uh, she's Gina's best friend." Mick admitted sheepishly, immediately noticing how his friend widened his eyes in surprise. "But it's not like that."

"Like what?" Esteban teased lightly.

"Like that!"

"What?"

"It's not like that!"

"Okay. I believe you."

Esteban nodded his head up and down a couple of times, both of his eyebrows raised and a gentle smile replacing his smirk.

"She's not like that. She's nice, and caring, and amazing." Mick smiled as he spoke, completely unaware that he was doing so.

Esteban watched his best friend knowingly, noticing that it almost seemed as if he was no longer there and that his best friend was concentrating solely on the image of the woman inside of his brain.

"You know, she holds my hand when Gina's not around her because she feels safe with me?" Mick's crystal blue eyes seemed to sparkle as he spoke about her.

"You know, she wears my sweater when I'm not with her so that she can still smell me?" Mick released a small sigh, silently hoping that she was doing okay whilst he was not there with her.

"She has that adorable smile, and, and the dimples, when she sees Gina or me, and the way that she scrunches up her nose when she stretches her body out." Mick blabbered on, not noticing the look that he was recieving from the tall French man.

Esteban began to giggle quietly to himself, shifting his body weight on to his back foot, leaning ever so slightly back whilst examining his best friends body language and facial expressions.

He knew.

He knew that Mick Schumacher was in love, even if the boy himself had not realised it.

He didn't know the woman that he was talking about, only that she was the best friend of his sister, Gina, but from what he had heard, she sounded to be a very nice person.

She seemed to be a good fit for the German boy.

And he couldn't wait to meet her.

"Okay, so we have to stay together. It's quite busy and I don't want to lose you in a crowd."

Gina Schumacher spoke sternly to her best friend, their hands clutched tightly together in an attempt for comfort and reassurance.

"You won't lose me in a crowd. You have one hand, I have one hand. Together there's 2 hands."

Lennox Knight muttered in discomfort, since they were in a very busy shopping mall, which was full with a lot of people, her hands shaking slightly since they were so many people and so much noise from people talking.

Her ears were ringing from the volume of the sound, hitting her eardrums like a hammer to a gong. Her eyes were wide and dilated, both from the stress of being around so many people as well as her medication that she had started to take in an attempt to try and stabilise her anxiety.

"But you always walk off!" Gina laughed, her laugh sounding like heaven to the other girl, being her anchor.

"We're conjoined at the hands, I have no idea what you're talking about." Lennox forced a smile at her best friend, trying to distract herself from the people that were barging past her rather roughly.

Gina scowled at the people that were barging in to her best friend, annoyed since there was plenty of room for them to walk past, which they seemed uncapable to do.

One of the men who had made eye contact with the Schumacher woman glared at the woman, shaking his head from side to side before he turned his back to the blonde.

She shot a middle finger to his back.

"We need to get you some more sweaters and sweatpants. Maybe some jeans too?" Gina rose one of her eyebrows as she noticed the eye roll that she recieved from the brunette.

"I barely wear jeans." Lennox stared at the blonde knowingly. "What are you planning to try and get me to wear jeans?"

Gina gulped thickly and multiple times, her throat suddenly becoming incredibly dry, words struggling to form and leave her lips.

"My dad wants to meet you." Gina admitted shyly, noticing the look of shock that filled the face of the Knight girl instantly.

"He what?"

"Well, my mother and I always talk about you to him, and Mick has started too, and he wants to meet you." Gina smiled happily, seeing her best friends face fill with pure shock.

"I thought that he couldn't talk?"

"He can, he just struggles with sentences." Gina informed the French-American girl whose face seemed to light up as the words hit her ears.

"Does he eat cupcakes?"

"What?" Gina furrowed her eyebrows together, before the words seemed to click in to her mind. "Oh, yeah, he does. But not too much sugar in it, as he can't have much."

"Cupcakes with less sugar. Easy, I can do that." Lennox beamed in happiness, hoping to make her best friends father some cupcakes since she was going to be meeting him for the first time.

She had heard dozens of stories from both Gina and Mick about the infamous Michael Schumacher, she had even heard some stories about him from Corinna.

She had never expected to meet the former Formula One driver, due to his injuries from a skiing accident, but now that she was going to meet him, because he wanted to meet her.

She only hoped that he would like her.
