Yns pov
Today is the New greenies first day I'm surprised gally hasn't killed him yet I think its quite funny every greenie is always scared of gally anyway since its green - beans first day that means one thing bonfire!!! Newt comes walking up to me "hey yn how are ya ?" he said in his thick British accent god that could make me fall to my knees straight away I was pulled away from my thoughts when newt was waving his hand in front of my face "huh what?" he laughed "you alright?"
"Yeah I'm good why?" he shrugged
"just asking love no need to get all defensive" I rolled my eyes he chuckes yet again "you coming to the bonfire?" I shrug
"I don't know if I can sit there without punching that annoying prick in the face" he laughs which makes me smile because his laugh is so nice that I have to smile "please if you don't i might get really really drunk and kill him" he says which makes me laugh "fineeee I'll come but you can't banish me if my fist accidentally whacks into his face" he nods

I sit on a log and gally comes and sits down "listen little sis I'm worried your not eating your proper meals and I don't want you being sick and passing out how come your not eating?" I sigh of course he noticed "i don't know I've just not been hungry I swear I'll eat what frypan cooks tonight because if I'm honest I'm kinda hungry" he nods then goes somewhere 10 minutes later he brings me a plate of food and passes it me I eat it because I was actually really hungry gally walked off and newt came and sat down he just drank gallys recipe he didn't speak "hey lizard" I said his jaw clenched and he looked annoyed "I'm joking newt calm down" he still didn't speak "okay what's your problem newt" he looked at me "nothing I just have a headache" I feel sympathy for him because I always have headaches
"Why are you drinking then it's gonna make it worse" he shrugs
"I don't know I'm just trying to make it go" i sigh and grab the drink out of his hand "lay down" I say and pat my leg he shakes his head no as if he doesn't want to be a burden "newt lay down" he's hesitant but does and I massage his head for a bit his hairs soft I like it I hear him hum and I can feel him drift off to sleep but the greenie comes up and shouts "newt heyyyy" I roll my eyes and newt sits up I go to go to bed but newt pulls me on his lap and whispers "I'll make sure he doesn't annoy you love" i nod and put my head in the crook of his neck because I'm facing him I feel my eyes going heavy and slowly I drift off to sleep but I hear newt whisper "night love" I hum in response

Newts pov
I see Yn asleep in the crook of my neck I turn to the greenie who's ranting on "listen greenie Yns asleep and you wake her I will have to murder you" he nods
"You love her don't you?" He asks
"No I just care about my friends" I say which is obviously a lie I'm in love with her
"Listen newt you don't have to lie to me"
"Fine I might like her but I swear you tell her and your dead okay" he nods
Gally and the greenie are fighting and Yn wakes up gasping most likely from a nightmare I put my hand on her back and try to calm her down and she finally looks me in the eye and calms down she puts her head back in the crook of my neck and I feel her lips on my neck what is she doing
"Yn what are you doing" I ask her she looks up wondering what she's done and I realise she didn't do it on purpose
"Sorry I didn't realise you was trying to get to sleep" she nods "can we go to bed?" She asks I nod and pick her up I put her on her bed and go to walk to mine but her hand grabs mine "can you stay with me I don't get nightmares when your by me" I smile
"Of course love" we cuddle up together and we both drift off to sleep
