Where the Flowers Bloom

Chapter 3

Mysta Rias, same batch as Shu Yamino. He's a social butterfly and can mostly be seen with Vox Akuma, they seem to hang out often.

Vox Akuma is in the same batch as Mysta, he's calm most of the time but it's said he is a chaotic mess when with Mysta.

Luca catches up to Shu, who just left the bathroom.

"Shuuu!" He beamed.

"Luca!" Shu said while trying to suppress his cough.

"How is your cough? You left the lecture in a hurry again.." Luca worriedly said.

Shu still hasn't told Luca, he doesn't want to pressure him with his feelings.

"Sorry Luca, just took my meds." Shu said, totally lying. Note that he sucks.

"Shu, you suck. Is it getting worse?" Luca said with a stern voice.

Shu laughed it off, he knew he couldn't lie.

"Yeah, sorry Luca." Shu said while looking down.

"Please Shu, tell me if something's wrong. And stop apologizing." Luca dictated.

Luca doesn't really have patience. But you could see that with Shu, he does.

Then, Shu's cough starts up again. He knows that if he stayed Luca would see.

"Sorry Luca, I'll head home first. See you!" Shu said while coughing and then he ran.

No stopping him, huh? And he apologized again.

Luca hates Shu being apologetic for things he had nothing to do with. It's been like that ever since, but he's come to like that side of him.

But lately, he has been apologizing more. This reassures Luca that there is something wrong with Shu.

He turns around slowly, still sad about Shu leaving in a rush and sees someone peeking from the bathroom.

It took him a while to determine who it was but what stood out to him was his unique hairstyle.

"Wait, Mysta?" Luca said, startled.

"Shit." 

.. ~ A bit of a flashback from when Shu left the bathroom.

Oh my god.

"No fucking way I overheard that." Mysta said quietly.

He panicked, what will he even do with this information?

Mysta peeked from the stall and leaves, thinking Shu wasn't there anymore.

As he was about to leave the bathroom, Luca dashes through the hall, halting his movements.

He peeks from the bathroom and hears the whole conversation between Luca and Shu.

What the actual fuck?

Mysta froze. He knew that Shu was close with Luca. So why didn't Luca know he had a disease, Hanahaki in fact?

"Wait, Mysta?" Luca said, startled.

"Shit." Mysta quaked.

"Were you eavesdropping?" Luca inquired.

Mysta laughed nervously, "Haha.." 

Luca sighed, "Alright.. guess it's okay, I'll go-"

"Wait!" Mysta halted Luca.

"Do you seriously not know what's happening with Shu?" Mysta wanted to know, why didn't it seem that Luca knows what's wrong with Shu?
