ALEXANDER-
Alexander was on his Nintendo now playing one of his favorite games,Pokémon, that he'd played so much he could probably win in one minute. He was interrupted and nearly dropped his Nintendo hearing the familiar screams of his parents in the kitchen. He hated when they would fight. He was all alone with no one to comfort him even if he had a sister. She never really bothered much about him so when his parents fought, he was all alone.
ESMERALDA-
Esmeralda knew what was going to happen now,it wasn't the first time. She prayed to her lord that all would be better but not even God could work so fast. Her mother had left the room minutes ago to try to make peace but obviously it wasn't working. Now her father was yelling at her mother.Seconds later a young female passed by Esmeralda.Even through dark black hair you could see she was shocked to see her and also quite attractive. She seemed to walk quick by her in a nervous way.Esmeralda wondered who she was and why she was here. She seemed older than her brother but yet not old like her mother. She thought she was just his friend and he got in trouble for not asking but she couldn't know any better.
-FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL-
Esmeralda and Alexander were both going to start school since they were both the age of five. The school was decent and seemed to have a nice playground. Esmeralda being excited and happy to see new children was glad to be here while Alexander was shy and afraid something would go wrong. He had no friends here and Esmeralda did,she had one friend from church named Sergio. It turned out all three would be in the same class with Mrs.Delgado. She had assigned seats already with her "fun" system of pulling out a number matching a number on a desk from a bag.Esmeralda luckily was sitting next to Sergio which they were both elated about.Alexander was sitting across from Sergio and was greeted by Esmeralda. He never talking to a girl his age before began to blush and shyly greeted her back. Before anyone else could say another word the teacher spoke.
"Alright kids! I know this is your first year so please listen up!"
She continued giving a boring speech of how you shouldn't be nervous and everything would go great this year if everyone followed the rules which lead to another speech on rules. Alexander was only half listening and decided to focus more around the room.He looked around the colorful decorated room only to stop his eyes on Esmeralda. He's seen other girls before but he couldn't help notice how different she was from all of them. She didn't look like a girl girl, she had medium wavy hair and a blue T-shirt and shorts to her waist. He couldn't see them noe but remember them when he saw her earlier. She was also wearing converse which seemed unusual to him because he thought they were boy shoes.
"Well now that that's out of the way,I'll let you guys color and talk,k? But don't get really loud ok?"
She was responded with a roar of okays and yays. While she passed out coloring sheets,Esmeralda noticed Alexander staring at her which made him blush.
"I-im sorry..."He spoke.
"For what? You didn't do anything to me."Esmeralda responded.
"Looking at you..."
"But that's not bad...it's ok...My names Esmeralda but you can call me Emy."
"O-ok...I'm Alexander... Why don't you look like a girl?"
"What do you mean?I am a girl"Esmeralda didn't get angered because she knew what he meant, she knew she was different and she liked it a lot.She didn't understand why he would call her a boy though and she felt quite offended.
"No! I mean your pretty like a girl and...I mean your face looks like a girl...but...You dont dress like one...Your different than other girls."He said with a flushed red face.
This made Esmeralda laugh, she liked how he was really shy and sweet. She continued coloring her Dinosaur while Sergio began to discuss with Alexander. The three continued to talk until the bell rang.Alexander had colored Two dinosaurs,Sergio a dino and a Dog, and Esmeralda two dinosaurs and a fish.He looked at her work with a impressed and blushing face.
"How can u color so...perfect?"
"I don't,I'm just good at coloring... I color a lot haha."
The kids returned home happy with their fun day only waiting for tomorrow.
