𝗟𝗼𝘂𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗯𝗻𝗼𝘅𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀, thought the boy who observed the people laughing and talking before their class. 𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙛𝙤𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙝! 𝙄 𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙚 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙩? 𝙒𝙝𝙮 𝙬𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙗𝙚 𝙨𝙤 𝙣𝙤𝙞𝙨𝙮 𝙗𝙚𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙘𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙨? 𝙄𝙨𝙣'𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙛𝙤𝙘𝙪𝙨!? He knew his words were "harsh" or unnecessary, but whenever someone would tell him that, he would say he told it how it was and if they could not handle the truth, maybe it was their problem. As he thought and thought of rude things about these people living their normal lives he thought more. More about why he would let lord lesser kusanali convince him to attend this akademiya. For some reason, he expected these people to be exactly the way they acted though. He thought all people were the same no matter what their labels were. Especially these ones.
𝗦𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻'𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝘁.
His first impressions were always cruel so it wasn't surprising if he thought this. What was surprising was for him to point out particular people while he was thinking. In this case, he was watching the girl who seemed to be the center of attention. She laughed and smiled and agreed with everyone, as if her opinion and what she had to say was the most important. The boy glared at this girl with annoyance. If eyes could kill, she would have been pierced with hatred. Pierced with hatred for no exact reason but the fact that she was admired. Of course he had never felt such a thing, so he despised everyone who had that trait.
When she paused from talking and met eyes with this boy, he did not look away. He never showed signs of fear and nor did she. Instead of breaking the deathly gaze the dark haired boy gave her, she gave a warm smile instead. He did not show any signs of surprise until she walked over to him and sat with him. His expression emotionless but deep down, he did not want to socialize with a person he thought was "fake."
"Hello! Are you new to the Akademiya? I haven't seen you before."
Her tone and body language was firm yet gentle. She only meant to be kind, but he took it as a sign of her trying to show her inferiority. The conclusions he made were never accurate.
"Yes, I am new," he responded
"Oh! That's great. It is good to always have new people. I hope you grow to find that this place is very welcoming and quite exceptional. If you want, I could give you a tour." She smiled at the end of her sentence to show hospitality. He opened his mouth to speak, then paused.
"I think I will be fine. Thanks for the offer.... although it wasn't needed," He got up and moved to another seat clearly showing discomfort as the teacher walked
She did not seem bothered though, she looked up and smiled once again. A smile the boy thought was very fake. And fake he absolutely did 𝙣𝙤𝙩 like.
This boy, known as Wanderer did not understand why people like y/n tried so hard to be friendly.
He thought there was no use to making friends. He saw it as a way of using people to get what they want. He was right after all.
Wasn't he?
