Soap POV

Gaz is helping me up a hill as he sets me down then pulls a sniper out to aim in on where we left Simon and Ash. I didn't wanna leave, but I also know that they couldn't go on without the other not again. The look in Ash's eyes told me everything I needed to know and I started to cry alittle for baby Simon as he was ganna grow up without his parents like they both had to. 

This world is a cruel place I will never let baby Simon forget about his mom and dad. I hear Simon on comms whisper, "Leave me baby little Simon needs one of us." I hear her move and she says, "You die I die......I love you Simon Riley!" Then I hear the cut and brace to lose my brother and sister, but nothing happens as I slowly open my eyes. 

"Reaper I see enemy impound they will be on top of you in 5 mikes." Gaz calls out as Ash comes back, "Rog we are on the move keep us covered Gaz." "Rog Reaper I see you." When they get to us I couldn't help but smile as I slowly got to my feet. Reaper hands me her side arm as I move to help Simon as she pulls her M4 up and Gaz is on her six as we move to exfil. 

Once we get on the heli Ash pulls off her M4 and hands it to me taking her side arm back and puts in the holster on her leg. Then she moves to help patch Simon up the best she could for now as she sits down next to him he pulls her close. 

"I've missed you my love," I hear Simon say in the headset and I smile. I've got to give it to him because he's got to be in so much pain, but she's still his first thought. God I miss Raven and I can't imagine how she's doing if she heard the comms between them. 

The heli ride back was long and as we landed Ash helpped Simon out as she noticed something I didn't and pulls her side arm. Aiming just passed Prices on his left as I see someone wearing a mask next to the hanger behind him. I lift the M4 up and aim at them to as I couldn't tell who it was, "Easy there we come in peace." 

I didn't know the voice, but I could tell Simon knew who it was by the way he looked up over to the direction it came from. The man comes forward with 2 others on his six, "Hi Simon." He says as he moves closer to Ash and she hasn't lowered her pistol.

Simon slowly puts his one hand hers and makes her lower her weapon, "Hi boy's good to see you again." Simon says as they look over to him now that Ash doesn't have her gun trained on them.

"You've looked better brother. We came as soon as we heard they had takin you." One of the others said. "Ghost's I want you to meet Ashley Ann Riley my wife." Simon says as he pulls her to his side. 

"Wait is this the same girl you dated back in the day?" The one that looks like the leader says. "Yes." Ash says as she takes her mask off and wraps an arm around his waist to help him stay standing. "Well it's nice to finally meet the girl he'd never shut up about. I'm Keegan Russ this is David 'Hesh' Walker and Logan Walker." He says as he points to them.

"Oh Merrick is on his way to." Keegan says as Ash starts to take Simon to medical. "So more of you made it out of the mission to save my dad?" Ash askes as Raven comes in the room with baby Simon. Ash helps Simon on the bed with my help and then gos to take Simon as he's reaching for her.

She gives him a kiss on the hand as he plays with the string on her jacket and I see Simon smile at them. "Who is this? He looks just like you Simon!" Hesh askes. "Mine and Ash's son Simon Seven Riley." Simon say as Raven starts to work on his wounds and I can see she's not holding herself together very well. 

"Johnny?" Ash asks as she hands me baby Simon and pulls her vest off then pulls Raven in for a hug as she let her tears fall freely now. "This is my sister Raven and I'm sure she heard what we thought was are last moments together." Ash say as she whispers something into Raven's ear as Raven hugs her tighter.
