The bright morning sunlight lit up the room, streaming through the closed window. Hannah knocked twice before coming into the twins' room. As she opened the door, the smell of pancakes wafted into the room. "Good morning kids!" Hannah said cheerfully. Percy groaned, rubbing his eyes.
"G'morning Aunt Hannah," Percy said groggily.
"Lily, wake up sleepyhead!" Jessie rolled over to give her best friend a friendly shove. "Lily?" She said, looking under the pile of blankets. She looked at Hannah, panic in her eyes.
Lily was gone.
