"Damn I never expected this many players" she muttered as she looked at Ego who's standing at the podium and glanced at the tons of male players around her. She knew about the institution Ego plans on making but she was expecting only about 20-30 players, She never expected it to be so large scale
Oshima Yasushi
That is the identity she'll use to observe the players. Does the person named Oshima Yasushi exist? She doesn't even know. It was a name given to her by Ego before giving her the 'invitation' and telling her to leave.
'He never told me I have to actually live with these male players,' She whispered as Ego continued to talk to the players.
As Ego finished explaining a boy with a white hair raised his hand
"Excuse me, I can't agree to the conditions you just laid out." Yasushi glanced at the guy
"Each of us has a precious team and some of us are preparing for the nationals, I can't abandon my team to participate in some nonsensical program" Ego scratched his head as a few other voices began to murmur.
"I see.. then piss off" Yasushi whistled silently. She knew Ego for years now
"If you want to leave I won't stop you. Listen, Japanese soccer teamwork capability is the best in the world but beside that, everything else is second-rate" he continued
"Let me ask you, what is soccer? Is it a sport where you treasure your bonds? For the sake of your friends? Wrong. It is a sport in which you score more points than your opponents" silence still booms through the whole podium
'So brutal, he's slapping the reality on these poor kids face' she thought as she kept glancing at the stun locked players around her
"If you want to play at getting along then piss off"
The blonde haired kid then started to argue about his Japanese heroes. She sighed and started zoning out
She gets it actually, she started playing soccer when she was a kid and of course she idolizes a lot of Japanese players. She also once dreamt of playing with her young group of friends in national leagues and to be completely honest she would be delighted if that happened.
However the difference she had with the players around her is that she understands how the world of the athlete works. If you stay your old same pack, you won't be able to progress. It was the hardest pill to swallow in this world. It is the same as only trusting yourself and your skills. The moment you hesitate to shoot your shot, you lose
"Discard your common sense. On the field, you are the leading actor" she blinked. A man with black hair began to run towards the direction of the door that was behind Ego. He was followed by a lot of players as he sprinted.
"Nice speech, very convincing" She whispered to Ego as she walked past him
~~
"Team Z 301, is this a ranking system of some sorts?" She whispered as she followed Anri
"Here's your uniform Yasushi-san" Anri smiled as she gave her the uniform she'll use.
"Feel free to look for me anything Ya-san, just don't get caught sneaking around" Yasushi nods as she accepted the uniform
She followed Anri to the nearest bathroom where she plans on changing before entering the Room Z.
"Please head to the room indicated by your uniform's letter and then stand by" It was Anri's final statement before leaving her in front of the room.
'Well, here goes nothing' she sighed
