“Kovu!” He yells, shoving aside his food and quickly wiping his muzzle.

A tall, broad shouldered lion came out of the grass, his muscles rippling in the sunlight. It was enough to make him blush.

“Hey, Cole.” The lion replied, his emerald green eyes meeting Coles. 

                   

Cole's heart begins to race as he immediately averts his gaze. He couldn't know- 

especially since he has a mate, and that he's an alpha. There would be no way he’d be into an omega such as Cole, right? 

“S-So..” Cole began, his face glowing red. “W-What are you d-doing here?”

He shuffled his paws shyly.

Kovu smirked. “I came to see you.”

Cole's heart leapt within his chest as he took a sharp breath inwards. Kovu? He came.. To see him? 

“O-Oh..” 

“Yeah.” The broad shouldered lion finished. “I just.. Had to get away from Kiara for a while.”

“I.. see.” Cole murmured. Wait, they're having.. Marital problems?

Cole's ears perked up. This just might be his chance!

“W-Well… what did she do?” Cole squeaked.

Kovu let out a long, drawn out sigh, his muscles rippling as he did so. 

“Shes been fooling around with other alphas.” He muttered, turning away from Cole. 

Cole flattened his ears, trying his best to look sad for Kovu's sake. “Oh… is that so? Im so sorry to hear that, Ko-”

Before he could finish, Kovu pinned him down, his paws resting upon Cole's shoulders. They were snout to snout, eyes staring into each other. 

“K…Kovu? Wha-” Kovu put a paw over Cole's mouth, licking his lips seductively. 

“Shh.” Kovu whispered. “I’ll just have to get back at her. You're willing to help me, right?” He purred into Cole's ear. 

Cole looked up at Kovu, and gave him a slow nod. How could he ever say no?
