Pumpkin Patch (FANFIC)

It's Halloween, and I have no plans. Do everyone need to have a plan in the time of Halloween? No. But I want to. You can judge me.

I think of going to the recently opened pumpkin patch near the soccer field. It will be my first time to go somewhere like that. I wore my casual attire and brought my phone and wallet so I can buy something if I saw something.

A step before I left, it's hailing taxis. I fetched my Frankenstein-inspired umbrella. "I will be leaving for the pumpkin patch!" I said before I closed the door.

When I arrived, the rain is gone, it's sunshine time and children are busy making Jack-o-lanterns. I saw Shindou making one. So I went to the pumpkin field to get a small, precious pumpkin and get to the exciting part: carving.

The field was muddy because of the rain, but at least I carved my pumpkin that suited my imagination.

I'm joking. I'm not joking. Yes, I'm joking. It came out horrible. I haven't scooped the seeds out, and I nearly sliced it in half. The mouth of my jack-o-lantern— it got too much teeth; it got 7 while I planned just three.

It came out to be free, not because it makes children happy, but what I did is just pure cursed. I brought it home anyway.

"Oh my goodness, Matsukaze Tenma, that's some traumatic jack-o-lantern experience. You haven't even scooped the seeds and yet you started the face." My guardian said.

"It's Halloween though, it's supposed to scare them." I replied.

"That will make them say 'trick or trick' not 'trick or treat' in disgust. Goodluck!"

We giggled. And yes, children with costumes are scared off for the rest of the month.
