"It's Tartarus,'' Jason said. "Monsters home court, down here maybe they can't be killed."
He gave me an embarrassed look, as if he just realized he was not helping team morale. "Or maybe she's badly wounded, and she is crawling around looking for a place to die.
"Let's go with that." I agreed.
Jason was still shivering and I was not doing any better. The glass cuts on my hand were still bleeding.
"This place is killing us" said. " I mean it's Literally to kill us unless..."
Tartarus fire That distant memory came into focus. gazed inland towards the cliff, illuminated by flames below.
It was a crazy idea but it might be their only chance.
" We need to find the River of Fire" said.
