We're caught

We run and run and run. We hide every time we hear any sign of the police. We search everywhere for a place to stay.

Until we gave up. We just couldn't find anything. We didn't know what would happen if we went to an hotel with our ids, maybe already in the news.

We were scared. Scared what would happen if we were caught. 'How did people get away with murder for so long,' I ask myself.

  "Should we go to the gas station to buy some snacks?"

  "I don't know jisung, what if the police somehow go to this convenience store and looks at the cameras and figure out more clues to where we are. Jisung you have to understand, we are on the run. You murdered someone and I'm helping. We both go to jail no matter what."

"Minho your worrying to much. I mean maybe they will come to this convenience store. But it's not good to starve ourselves, right. It would rather go to jail than starve myself."

"Yea your right. Sorry for overreacting....I'm just really scared what could happen."

"It's okay Minho, anyone who was in your position would to the same, now let's buy ourselves some snacks."

Jisung pulls out his hand for me to take. I gladly hold his hand with a little of panic and worry on me.

  We go inside the store I look through all the snack aisle, and find some pudding. 'Pudding? Pudding in a convenience store. I never knew there's pudding in this store.' I thought but I got it anyways. I also brought along some other snacks and drinks.

   I look over where jisung is and he has tons of snacks, that fatass. I know I'm fat much damn, that's just to much jisung. But the more the merrier, right. Especially since we might get arrested at any point.

   We go to the cash register and pay for it. As soon as where about to leave, the cashier asks us something.

  "Wait, aren't you the one that's on the news. Not the purple haired boy. The blue haired one." Me and jisung suddenly panic thinking we already got caught this quick.

  "Huh? Sorry I don't know what your talking about. I don't really watch the news." Jisung quickly said.

  "Oh, my bad. It's just that you look like him. Like reaaaally look like him. I'm sorry for that."

  "Nah your fine. But I hope the cops don't think that. They might accuse the wrong person of murder."

  "Yea yea, but keep on the look out, he's still out there, ok!"

"Yea got it."

Now we walk out the door. It closes and we soon have panic all around our body.

"Shit shit shit. I didn't think it would be on the news already. It literally happened 13 hours ago. A day hasn't even passed."

"It's okay jisung, it's okay. Let's try our best to not panic alright."

"Okay....I'll try. But why would they already suspect it's me on the spot."

"Well if I was them, I would suspect the same thing too. It's the middle of the night. Parents dead. No sign of their child. It's a simple thing a cop would suspect."

"Dammit, how did they find the body so quick. Who would even go to my house at whatever time they found the body." Jisung sighs "Well I'm just happy you aren't on the news and it's only me instead."

As soon as jisung was about to hug me. We see the cashier walking up to us. 'Why would he be walking to us?'

As I was about to ask jisung that question the cashier was already speaking.

"How did you know that it was a murder?" The cashier asks.

"Uh, what do you mean?" Jisung asks, slightly confused.

"When I asked if you where the guy on the news you said you didn't understand and that you don't watch the news. But you then said you hoped you wouldn't be accused of murder, how did you know that if you don't watch the news?"

We both look at eachother dumbfounded. We were shocked we got caught this easily, so fucking easy. We both didn't know what to say as we stood there, shocked.

But the cashier says something again.
