As we all know from the last book. I said Optimus was Ultra Magnus' twin brother. Ultra Magnus is the oldest of the two. He has respect for his brother. The two of them didn't know that they were fighting side by side in the war.

As for being the oldest, Magnus does not archive what he vision of his future. This poor old Commander can't get a break from the old Wrecker, Wheeljack. Magnus tries not to go all out on the Wrecker. Meaning trying not to hurt him or punish him that much. Wheeljack is just a handful for the Commander to deal with.
