*YO WAKE UP DUDE!!*
*THERE'S A NEW BOBA PLACE!*
* JUST ME AND GEORGE SO WAKE YOUR ARSE UP!*

I grudgingly try to wake myself up after sleeping in all day. "It's already 2:30 PM..." I groan to myself.

Reaching over to my bedside table, I grab my phone and check who's been SPAMMING me all day. Oh, it's just Clay.

Clay is one of my best friends, I've practically known him since middle school! But, now we're in college, and I haven't really been able to hang out with him much since school. To add on to the pile of loneliness, he even got a boyfriend, whose name is George.

So that takes up another chunk of time to hang out. It's not like they're purposely trying to ignore me. We all still chat a bit, but it's always hard for me to socialize with unfamiliar people.

I've always been used to just having one group of friends for my whole life. But things are changing now, we're all adults so it's expected.

During college, I usually just go to my classes and ignore everyone that isn't my friend. That may sound cold or rude, but in reality, I'm a whole lot more open to my friends.

But lately, I've been wanting to change. I want to make more friends and step out of my comfort zone... or do something besides just sleeping.

And today's my chance since Clay invited me to a new boba shop that just opened a few minutes away from
where we live. It's just going to be Me, Clay, and George. So, it's all gonna be okay and I could probably benefit from leaving my apartment.

I get myself all dressed and ready. I usually go for comfort over style when dressing, so I just throw on a loose burgundy hoodie along with some classic 501 blue jeans.

I grab my keys and head out the door. "To a new beginning!" I think cheerfully to myself as I enter my car and start driving.
