Sooyoung rushed into her shared apartment with her girlfriend and went straight to their bedroom. “Sooyoung unnie?” Jiwoo called out, puzzled, as the older girl usually kisses her when she walks through the door.
Jiwoo immediately goes to their room and sees Sooyoung sitting on their bed and looking out the window. “Unnie? Are you ok?” Jiwoo asked in a concerned tone. She then walks towards Sooyoung, who now has her head down.
The younger slowly lifts Sooyoung’s chin, only to be surprised by the bruises on her girlfriend’s face. Jiwoo immediately gasps and hugs the taller girl. “Unnie, what happened?” Jiwoo questioned. Sooyoung said nothing and smiled weakly.
After a few moments of Jiwoo hugging Sooyoung, the older finally spoke. “Don’t worry. It was just someone who should be put in their place after talking bad about you,” Sooyoung said softly, perfectly concealing her rage within her body as she remembered the hurtful words said about her girlfriend.
“Soo, you know you don’t have to do that for me,” Jiwoo said, tearing up. She looked at Sooyoung’s face again to see the bruises. The younger kissed them one by one until she stopped after the last one.
“I wanted to. I would do anything for you.”
