chapter 1

"Lilly Lilly Lilly Lilly wake up wake up" 
"Gracie five more minutes please" I looked at the clock and it was only 7:33pm "get up please?" She gave me those puppy dog eyes and I just couldn't say no "okay I will get up and we'll play yea?" Her little smile was so precious and she looked so happy. Two years ago I met Gracie someone left her at the door of our orphanage without a blanket or anything she was so cold she almost didn't make it. She was 4 years old when they brought her here. One day a couple came and took her because they thought she will be perfect for them but after a week they brought her back because they couldn't stand the fact that she was always crying and that she was too clingy for them. When I first saw Gracie I immediately knew I needed to protect her from the world she was a little angel, we were hanging out all the time and that's why we have the same room in the orphanage. I promised Gracie that we'll always be together. Her little voice snapped me out of my thoughts " help me"
She threw her clothes at me so I'll helped her and we went downstairs to eat some breakfast. Aunt Lana was smiling at us suspiciously "Lilly, Gracie I have some very good news for you both but first breakfast" we looked at each other with smiles because whenever aunt Lana was smiling like that it meant that a couple comes to the orphanage. After we ate she took us to her office "so a couple came today and they said that they want to adopt you two but first they want to meet you. They said they will be here In 20 minutes so be ready girls" Gracie jumped on me and hugged me tight "I need to breathe Gracie" she let me go and run while giggling I went after her because we need to put on some good clothes.
After a while aunt Lana came to our room to take us but Gracie fell asleep in my arms so I just carried her to Lana's office. She opened the door for us and a man with brown curls and forest green orbs turned his head to look at us I was stunned because of his beauty. Then I saw the woman that looked at us like she wanted to kill us. "Hi um I'm Lilly and this is Gracie sorry that she's asleep but she was so excited and it made her tired" the man smiled at us he looked genuinely nice "hi love it's okay I'm Harry and this is my wife Aria" "nice to meet you um I have a question sorry if it uh sounds rude but do you guys want just Gracie or like uh both of us?" He chuckled at my question and looked at the woman who was on the phone and she looked mad as fuck "of course we want you both because Mrs Lana told us that Gracie wouldn't go without you" my smile immediately fell into a frown because I knew they wouldn't take me if Gracie wasn't here. "So when can we Take them?" The man asked Lana. " You can take them today if you want?" I looked at her with wide eyes. We packed and said bye to Lana she was crying while hugging us. Poor little Gracie didn't want to go because she was scared of Aria but I reassured her that I'll protect her no matter what, we went to a car and Gracie again fell asleep in my arms. When we finally arrived to their home Harry took our bags. When we entered home I stopped and stood with my mouth wide opened. They were rich because the house looked like a villa. Aria went to the kitchen I guess she didn't like us. " Come on guys let me show you your rooms" " um I'm sorry but can we maybe have one room? Gracie can't sleep alone she's too scared" Harry looked at me and nodded " of course you can but today you need to sleep in one bed because we kinda made two rooms but it's fine don't worry" when he showed me our room it looked beautiful there were a lot of colours "oh my god it's beautiful thank you so much she will love it" I walked further into the room and accidentally stepped on a plushie that started to play a song and it woke up Gracie  "Lilly where are we?" " That's our new home baby look at all of the plushies" she looked around with a shy smile and then she looked at Harry and asked me out loud "is the scary lady here ?" Harry chuckled hard at her question " she may look scary but I promise that she's really nice" he reassured us. "Lilly let's play please?" Again the puppy dog eyes "aren't you hungry?" She thought for a second "a little bit" "what would you like to eat?" "Pizza" we looked at Harry and he sighed " fine let's order some pizza for dinner.
