Chapter 4

Lexi's POV

My body felt so stiff. My jaw was litteraly on the floor. Did Niall just really find a wedding ring in my waffles?!?

Wait!! WTF!! I'm only 18, just finishing High School, I haven't even picked out the job I want. But now Loui wants me to marry him!?!?

I guess I was so coaught up in my thoughts that I didn't realize I was laying on the floor with Loui by my side and Niall examining the 24 karrot ring.

Everthing was hazzy as if I just woke up with a bad hangover... but instead I woke up to something much bigger.

" Lexi are you okay?!?" Loui asked waving his hands in front of my face.

" Huh," I say, sitting up on the kitchen tile floor. Could he really not see that I'm clearly not okay!!

" Here let me help you up." Loui said as he rapped his arms around my thin waist helping me up. My legs felt like jello. All my thoughts became all jumbled up.

As he led me into our bedroom leaving Niall in the kitchen. He placed me on the bed and then turned around to close the door. When he came back he plopped down beside me on the bed and let out a long sigh.

" If I would have known that would have been your reaction I wouldn't have proposed so soon." Lou exclaimed.

I turned to face him. Pain and sadness was registered in his face. I cupped his chin in my hands. " No, loui you just caught me by suprise. I just didn't know what to think. To be honest I'm kind of scared." I responded.

He layed back pulling me on top of him so my body was on top of hiid having my head rest on his chest. It was firm yet soft. He smelled of Old Spice, I loved that smell on him.

" Lexi, I'm so sorry, I wanted everything to be special. Just for you because you deserve everything in the world. It broke my heart when I saw your face. Niall wasn't supose to eat your waffles. I should have stopped him. I should have never proposed so soon to you." he looked at me with sadness in his face.

" No, Boo Bear, I'm glad you did it." I protested.

He looked at me in shock." Really?!?"

He quickly got up pulling me with him until we where both on our feet. " Lexi will you do me the honor of marring me?" Lou asked.

" Yes," I answered.

" Sorry Nall still has the ring, Let's go get it."

As we walked back to the kitchen I couldnt help but think about Lou's and my future. Was I really ready to get married? I loved Lou, but am I too young?

I definatly need to talk to Julie and Sam about this before the weekend is over. Some serious girl talk needed to happen.

Lou's POV

As I slid the 24 karrot ring on Lexi's finger I couldn't help but feel giddy. I loved her and I never really wanted to let her go.

But when I saw her face earlier when Niall found the ring in her waffles it made me regret what I had done. Was it to early to propose, I know we've known each other for three years, but were we to young?

I was so relieved when she told me yes she would marry me. things where finally coming into place for me.

" Niall, why would you just walk into the house and start eating our waffles?" I asked

" Well you know," Niall exclaimed looking at the floor turning red. He was obviously ashamed of what he did.

" No Niall I don't know,"

" Sam was asleep this morning when I woke up so she couldnt make me breakfast. So I decided to come over here because I knew you guys would have breakfast ready like you always do. And I know your doors are always open to me or anyone." Niall rushed out.

" Oh Niall, It's okay. We are always glad to be there for you, everything is okay and everthing is fixed now." Lexi Told Niall as she walked over to the table to hug Niall. He gave her a tight hug as she kissed his forehead.

I wasn't really mad at Niall I just felt bad because Lexi wasn't the one to find the ring in the waffles I had made her this morning.

" Hey, Niall how about we all go out to IHOP for breakfast?" I announced.

" Great I'm starving," Niall exclaimed as he finished the stack of waffles on both mine and Lexi's plates.

Lexi giggled as he said this. I couldnt help but let a chuckle excape from me. " You could never tell you where hungry Niall." I say. He began to blush.

I grabbed Lexi's hand as we walked to our car. I was starving, waffles acually sounded really good right now!

Lexi's POV

" OHHHHH, Boo Bear may I please pretty please make my own stack of waffles!?!" Niall asked with excitment in his voice.

" Of course Niall, you can have what ever you like." Lou explained.

" In that case I would like a unicorn!"

" Nialler you cant have one of those.." Lou said.

" Lalalala, you said I can... why cant I have one?!?" Niall asked.

" Because they arn't re....." Lou started to say be was cut off by Niall's wail.

I turned to Lou and gave him a sharp look. Why would he tell Niall that, he's to young and innocent. " Oh Niall it's okay, unicorns must exist some where. Don't listen to Lou, just because he hasn't seen one doesn't mean they arn't real" I said standing up and sitting next to Nial on his side of the booth.

Niall lookes up from his hands stiffling a sob. His eyes and cheeks where puffyand red. With evidence of his tears.

" Lou's just a big idiot." Niall glared at lou, who just shrugged it off and gave Niall an apolicetic look.

" Sorry Nialler, I didn't mean to hurt your feelings." Lou told Niall.

" uhhem" the waitress at the front of the booth cleared her throat. " are you guy's ready to order?"

" Of course!!!" Niall exclaimed. " I would like srambled eggs, but hold the srambled. Four pices of bacon, a big bowl of hash browns, then i would also like twelve choclate chip pancakes." Nial finished.

We all stared at him dumbfounded. How could he eat that much, he must have a hallowed out leg where he stores all that food.

Finally the waitress broke the silence, closing her mouth and finding her words." Is that all," she asked Niall.

" Well know that i think about it I would like some toast, a stack of waffles, and a hot chaclate. That would be all thank you." Niall said folding up his menu and handing it to the suprised waittress.

" And for you," She asked turning to us, mentaling shaking herself.

" Just the usuall for us Bridget, Thank you." Lou added.

I turned to him and kissed his cheek. In return he rappes his arm around me pulling me closer and kissing me passionetly on the lips.

 " I'm glad you know me so well." I said refering to him knowing my usual. I loved how he took care of me. I'm so glad to be marring him.

" I just pay attention." He answered kissing me lightly on the head.

This morning wasn't turning out half that bad, even with Nialler it was still perfect.
