Numb. That's how my legs feel right now, as I run around the track for P.E. I don't mind the feeling; it means I'm working for something, it makes me happy and forget everything. The class had to run five laps after our soccer lesson and then we were allowed to leave.

When I finished my laps, I head towards the library to finish some homework I had. When I finally do finish, I gather all my work and head towards my locker so I wouldn't lose it over the weekend. I wasn't paying attention, scrolling aimlessly through my Tumblr, and I ran into a chest; more like a wall. My papers and books went flying everywhere and I flew back at the impact. The person I ran into, grabbed my waist and pulled me upright. I take a couple steps back, creating space between us, while he smirks. "I'm sorry!" I say, dodging him and trying to leave in a hurry.

I felt him starring at me as I put my things away. I ignore him, and start to walk home. I have a perfectly normal, working, car but it was a nice fall day so I decided to walk and spare the anxiety today. I hear a motorcycle roar to life, and then the boy I ran into, speeds down the street, without a helmet. I cringe, trying to ignore the memories.

Continuing my walk, I think about what just happened. I ran into the "bad boy" as the school calls him, or as I call him; Jace Anderson. He has the "bad boy" reputation, fighting kids, drinking, motorcycles, he's 6'1", blue eyes that look grey, black hair; mysterious. I laugh to myself. How does a girl, like me, run into a guy like him?
