I walk out the restaurant, the wind blowing soft, but still sends goosebumps up my body.
I cross my arms together, and look up in the sky.
"Beautiful night." A deep voice speaks behind me.
I turn around to see the guy from the table standing, here, in front of me.
I give him a shy smile and look down to my feet.
I am so shy when it comes to boys.
He puts his hands in his pockets and walks over to me.
He stretches out his hand, "Zachary Morris."
I look up and shake his hand, "Adelyn Medina."
"Beautiful name, for a beautiful girl." He compliment.
I smile, "Thank you, so is your name.... Not that you are beautiful, hell you are handsome... Not that you are handsome, but... You know what I mean to say."
He chuckles, "You are funny."
"Thanks." I answer.
"So, is Mariah your mom?" I asked, after mintues of silence.
"Actually, she is my... Wife." He answer.
He runs his hand through his hair, and smiles at me.
I nod, and clap my hands together only once, "Nice choice, older women are the best." I say, trying to not make this awkward.
"And you know, how?" He asked.
I smile, "Friends, I have friends who are dating and older women and yeah."
He looks down at the ground.
"So old are you?" I asked, as I could see him trying to avoid His wife conversation.
"Twenty three years old, and you?" He answer and asked.
"Seventeen." I answer, he nods.
"That's the age to live life." He told me, winking at me.
"I guess." I answer.
"So you still in school?" He asked, as he looks down at my hands.
I know he can see them sweating.
"Actually no, I wish I was... But my mom wants me to focus on something else." I respond.
"Let me guess, fashion." He says.
I show him a thumbs up, "We have a winner."
"That's nuts! Does she even know what you want in life?" He asked.
"Yeah, she know I wish I was a lawyer but...." I trailed off.
"I know how it feels, so why don't you go on your own?" He asked.
He wants to know a lot.
"Just moved here, plus don't have a place to be at." I whisper.
"You don't need somewhere to live to go bac-"
I cut him off, "My mom will probably kick me out, if I told her I was going back to school."
He bites his bottom lip, making me bite mine.
"You have a phone?" He asked.
I nod.
"Let me see it." He command.
"Why?" I asked.
"Because, I want to call jack sparrow to come pick me up in his pirate ship." The sarcasm was obvious.
I roll my eyes and hand him my phone.
He whistle as he types something in.
"Thanks, pumpkin." He spoke, handing my back my phone.
Is he calling me pumpkin, because he thinks I am fat?
"Text me when you get home." He raised his voice, as he walked back inside.
