Family Baking Day

On this vary extraordinary Saturday all of us decided that it was a good day to do some cooking and baking while all the men of the household went out to go golfing with each other. Earlier that morning my friend Daisy came by the house to join in the women's cooking/baking party. We decided to learn some of the basic stuff before going on to the more advanced styles of cooking and baking.

Daisy: " So, what are we going to learn to cook and bake first?"

Isabel: " Well I was thinking about starting off with eggs."

Sky: " That sounds like an excellent plan Ma."

Maria: " Once were done with the eggs we can learn how to make cupcakes."

Esme, Sky, and Daisy: " Yum, those are one of our favorite desserts."

Maria: " I thought so. I just had a feeling that all of you guys liked cupcakes.

Isabel: " What a great idea Maria."

Maria: " Great minds think alike."

Isabel: " They sure do Maria. They sure do."

After this was said and done the whole entire group of women started their lessons of cooking and baking before all the hungry men arrived. They all started the cooking and baking lessons at 6:00 in the morning until 6:00 at night when all the hungry cowboy golfers came back to the house. What I didn't see was that Marcos decided to sneak up from behind me while I was still putting my half of the cupcakes away.

Marcos whispering in my ear: " Your getting good at this Sky. I like how your cupcakes taste."

Me just jumping out of my skin from him coming up from behind me like that.

Sky: " Where did you come from? You're supposed to only eat my cupcakes a little while after you've eaten your dinner!"

Marcos: " Hello to you too Favored By God."

Sky: " Now please get out of this kitchen. We are going to make dinner now."

Marcos: * Just chuckling, okay I'm going now I'll see you later than Sky."

All of Marco's brothers: " Man you sure got Sky good back there."

Marcos: " I sure did brothers. I sure did."

Daisy: " So, what are we going to make for dinner tonight?"

Maria: " Why don't we let Sky decide."

Sky just Whispering: " How about meat, potatoes, and gravy?"

Isabel: " Why are you whispering sweetheart?"

Sky: " Because, I want it to be a surprise for everyone."

Maria: " The guys are going to love you for that idea, especially Marcos."

Sky: " You betcha."

Once again the women set off cooking again to make the meat, potatoes, and, gravy as a surprise for all the cowboys in the house.

Daisy: " All right boys dinner is ready. Come and get it while it's still hot."

All the cowboys: " Were coming."

Marcos: Hey, Sky how are you doing?"

Sky: " I am doing good. I have learned how to bake some cupcakes and other simple things."
