It had been four weeks since they had agreed to design Pakin's house and Payu had to admit that so far things were progressing well. Pakin was sticking to the rules that Rain had actually made Pakin sign. Afterwards, Rain had hung it on their refrigerator as a reminder to them. It was decorated along the edges with hearts, stars, flowers, and mildly threatening comments. "Breaking rules not allowed" "This means you P'Payu" "And you P'Pakin" In one corner, he had drawn a knife that was ominously dripping blood into a pool at the bottom of the page. While Payu knew it was a joke, he also knew that Rain was serious about the document and Payu didn't want to think about what could happen if he didn't adhere to the rules.

Payu reread the list, laughing at the ridiculous demands that Rain had spent all of five minutes writing while ranting about Pakin and his pampered life. When the already decorated document had been shoved in Pakin's face, while Rain recited the rules from memory, Payu could tell Pakin had put forth great effort to not laugh.

"While not a very official looking document, I will agree to your rather, um, interestingly worded demands," Pakin had said with a comically large smile on his face.

1. Rain decides the timelines
2. Rain decides how much time Payu and Rain work each week
3. Rain and Payu will take a break whenever Rain feels like it
4. Rain will contact Pakin to update him on the project's progress
5. Pakin will not contact Rain or Payu to ask about the project's progress
6. These rules are subject to change

After signing, Pakin had handed the paper back to Rain who pointed towards Payu instead of taking it.

"You too P'Payu. We are all signing it." Payu had bit back a laugh while putting his signature to the left of the bloody knife.

Still standing in front of the refrigerator, Payu felt arms wrap around his waist and Rain's head peek over his shoulder.

"Needed a refresher?" Rain asked, poking Payu in the ribs.

After a moment of panic that he worked to keep off his face, Payu replied firmly, "Never. I know the rules baby. I won't forget." Payu turned, grabbed Rain's cheeks and placed a loud kiss on his forehead.

"I was just teasing. I know you won't." Rain smiled up at him, seemingly uncaring about catching Payu staring at the rules for no reason.

Payu was always relieved to hear Rain voice his trust in him. While Rain had never stopped loving him, earning back Rain's trust had been slow and hard-won. The fear of breaking that trust again traveled with him everywhere and was ever-present at the back of his mind. Most of the time, he could push it from the forefront and simply enjoy the life he was building with Rain. But, there were moments, such as this, that his heart would constrict, worrying that he had caused any bit of doubt to creep back into Rain's mind.

"How was dinner with your friends? Did you eat enough or get too caught up in talking that you forgot to eat? Do you want me to make you something?"

"No, Phi. I ate enough, I promise. But, I am super tired and I think I'm going to head to bed after I shower, if that's okay?"

"Alright monkey, into the shower then. I'll follow in just a minute, I need to talk to Saifah for a minute," Payu responded, smacking Rain in the butt as he walked away.

"P'Payu!" Rain whined. But Payu just chuckled, because he knew that Rain loved it.

Slipping into the shower behind Rain, Payu began leaving kisses along the back of his neck and down his spine.

"Phi, quit it!" Rain turned, pushing Payu gently from him. "Let me finish."

Payu reached around Rain, poured shampoo in his hands, and began gently pushing it through Rain's wet hair. Rain loved having his hair washed and Payu was looking to shake Rain from his fatigue so he'd agree to put off sleep for a while longer.

When done, Payu moved Rain back under the water to rinse his hair. A small moan left Rain's mouth and he tilted his neck back. Payu placed several firm kisses on Rain's mouth, which slowly opened for him. Rain's eyes never opened but his hands moved up to hold Payu's hips.

Payu turned off the water and stepped out of the shower, grabbing a towel to dry off. He turned back to Rain who hadn't moved. His eyes had opened and he silently watched Payu, waiting to be dried off. Payu pulled him from the shower and ran the towel across each part of Rain ending with his hair. He tossed the towel to the floor and began walking Rain backwards out of the bathroom and towards the bed.

Rain, waking up to what was happening, said, "P'Payu, we need to dry our hair or the bed will get wet."

"Don't care," Payu whispered into Rain's ear, being rewarded with a shiver and goosebumps down Rain's arms. Nearing the bed, Payu pushed Rain back onto the bed, watching as Rain wiggled his way to the top. Payu lost his ability to think, move. He stood frozen staring at this amazing human, who was his. Rain, bare on their bed, trusting him with his body. Trusting him to take care of him and make sure no one hurt him, least of all Payu himself. Trusting him with his heart.

He was shaken from his daze when he heard a soft, "Daddy?" Payu closed his eyes not believing what he had heard.

"What did you just say?" Payu whispered back, eyes still shut.

"Daddy," Rain repeated softly.

Payu could not remember the last time he had heard that word from Rain's mouth. He knew he had lost that title when he had betrayed Rain's trust in him. Had not cared for him the way Rain had trusted him to. He had not asked Rain about the absence of that word, never wanting to pressure him. There were moments he thought Rain would never again call him that.

He took a breath, reminding himself not to waste this moment. To move. To respond. To accept this gift that was being so lovingly given. Opening his eyes, he could see the fear that was behind Rain's small smile probably due to Payu's slow response. Wanting to erase that fear, Payu crawled up the bed, kissing up Rain's body as he went, knowing that Rain would keep his hands at his side without being told. Toes. Calves. Thighs. Hips. Navel. Ribs. Nipples. Neck. Ending at Rain's ear, "What a good boy, holding still. I love you so much baby boy."

Payu watched as Rain's face lit up from the praise. "I love you too P'Payu."

"Does Rain still belong to Payu?"

"Rain still belongs to P'Payu. But P'Payu belongs to Rain too."

"I do, baby boy. I do." Rain reached up to push Payu's hair from his face. "Do you want me to put it up?"

Rain shook his head, "No, leave it down."

Payu reached under the pillow for the lube that lived under Rain's pillow while leaving marks across Rain's neck and collarbones, desperately wanting to leave evidence of his ownership. He moved down, leaving marks across Rain's stomach, while pushing one finger into Rain. He watched Rain bite his lip an arch back as one finger became two, three. Payu pressed Rain's knees towards his chest as he moved upwards, staring into Rain's eyes and pushing into him. He wanted to go slow and savor Rain's restored faith in him, but his desperation and desire to dominate took over and he began thrusting forcefully. His mind dissolved and he could only think of the skin that was touching his own, the body he was inside, and the increasingly louder moans in his ear.

Feeling Rain begin to tense, he covered Rain's mouth with his, and came shortly after he felt Rain's release between them. Collapsing onto Rain, he felt hands softly running through his hair.
He lifted up onto his elbows, looking down on Rain. How did he deserve this sweet, chaotic man? This trusting, loving, forgiving, bundle of energy. Payu placed a small kiss on the corner of Rain's mouth.

"Thank you for this. For your trust. I didn't think I'd ever hear you call me that again." Payu dropped his forehead to Rain's.

Rain's arms wrapped around Payu tightly. "Well, I love you and I was ready, so, yeah. But now P'Payu, we need another shower."

Notes:

So, I decided that after the pain and suffering I went through in the previous story, I needed to write a little fluff and smut. So that's what I did.
