A/N: I did not proofread so sorry if something doesn't make sense. Also though it's mostly Wednesday Netflix oriented, I also used characteristics of the older tv shows, though I've literally near to no memory on it. And then there are my oc, I hope you like them.

It's a new school year in the mid - late 90s in Vermont. A brown 80s Chrysler is driving along a street cascaded on both sides by forest. By the time they past a freshly polished sign telling them left to the Nevermore academy, the street had been getting more and more misty, giving it all a mystery vibe.

"Please mother think about it one more time, I don't want to go to school!" Morticia is staring out the window in protest and notices how the forest is getting darker and darker, peaking at her interest.

"You know I can't homeschool you anymore and I'm sure you're going to like it very soon" Griselda stretches out a hand to reassure Morticia, but then decides different.

She instead starts pulling on Ophelia's dress. "You could have gone with me to my school, if the long distance from home is saddening you"

Morticia only rolls her eyes by the thought of Swamptown high. They turn left into a smaller path and a minute later the huge iron gate, marking the entrance of Evermore high appeared insight. Morticia had to admit, the elegantly formed black metal impressed and weirdly charmed her. The car parked in front of the castle like build school. Morticia was standing on the gravel stone made place, the stones cracking underneath her boots like bones. She looked around herself seeing other students and parents going their ways and saying their goodbyes. A smile build up in the corners of her lips, Morticia already started to like this place.

She turned around to look at her Mother, who had been lifting Morticia's luggage out of the trunk, "you seem to be right, mother, It might not be as unpleasant as i thought."

Griselda smiled "you see, it really isn't that bad. Now will you please help us to get you stuff up to your dorm."

"That won't be necessary." A nearly 6 foot tall black woman, was standing behind them, greetingly stretching out a hand "Mrs Frump, am I right" the butch looking woman smiled warmly, her werewolf teeth blinking in the sunlight.

The woman who had introduced as Mrs Fana Bouda had ordered them to follow them to Morticia's dormitory. Mrs Bouda showed them around the school for them to get a first impression and as they finally arrived at their final destination, Morticia's luggage had already been placed on her side of the room.

"Here we are!" Mrs Bouda said while closing the window. "Please make yourself at home, our students are allowed to decorate their room how they want as long as they respect the boundaries of their roommate."Morticia's eyes fall onto the empty bed in the still undecorated corner at the opposite end of the room. "Don't worry we match our students thoughtfully together to avoid bigger differences."

"When are they going to arrive?" Morticia asks still a bit bothered of the thought of having to share a room.

"Her name is Larissa Weems, she's arriving in about 3 hours with the afternoon train in Jericho like most of the students who come alone." Fana glances down at her watch and makes a few steps towards the door. "You though will have about 4 hours to unpack your stuff and get yourself comfortable" she said while stopping in the doorframe, "if you would now like to come with me Mrs Frump, so we can continue with our conversation."

Griselda who had blanket out the whole time just nodded in agreement and then turned to her daughter "Morticia dear, is it okay if we leave you hear already?"

"Of course mother, goodbye."

Griselda signed, a sad smile hushing over her face "then goodbye, I guess. Ophelia say your sister goodbye"

Ophelia went in for a hug but Morticia drugged away, giving her prompted handshake instead. "I'll miss you" Ophelia had tears in her eyes.

"I've placed tarred roses on you bed, you can remember me by them"

"i will."

.

Morticia was now standing alone in her room, thinking about what to do next. She started unpacking and just two hours later finished with covering her bed. She looked proudly at her work and pushed her suitcase underneath her bed. She let herself fall onto her fresh covers and closed her eyes for a moment to breathe.
