Anyway, one thing that some people find incredibly unfair with school, is how everyone has a "rank".
The people at the top are always pretty, always posh and have pretty much never been bullied.
Then below the populars, you get the others, who aren't at the top, but are nice and comfy in the middle. Too popular to be at the bottom, but not popular enough, or pretty enough, or cool enough, to be at the top.
And then below them, the people that you try and avoid at all costs, are the lowlifes. I feel sorry for them. I really do. Avoid them like the plague, is my word of advice.
Caught hanging out with one? You'll need a good excuse to keep your rank.
Friends with one? Well, you better keep it a secret.
Go out with one? Well this is a rare case, but it can happen. I've seen it once myself. The girl was popular. The guy was a lowlife. When everyone found out, the girl lost her high status and became the same rank as him. Not worth the risk.
See that picture? That's me. Lily Rose Waters. At the top of the tower. And why am I there? Because I worked hard for it. But I wasn't always at the top. Oh no, far from it.
