This is How We Met

Shay's Pov
"Bye sweetheart, see you after class." My mum chirped
"No... Mummy, don't leave me... No...." I wailed.
I can't believe , my mum "dumped" me in a random big school. This is a really big deal for a 4 year old kid.
"Hey, why are you crying?" A small boy with blonde hair asked.
"My mummy left me..."
"I'm Aaron. Want to play snake and ladder with me?" He asked confidently.
That's how out friendship bloomed.
Ever since then, we were always together. Aaron was the popular kid ever since he was a kid Everyone adores him, whenever someone picks on me, Aaron will always be there to help me. Many people thought that our girl-boy friendship would only last through elementary school and by the time we reach middle school, we would have our own friends. However, that was not the case. People excepted the fact that when Aaron is invited for something, I will be here. Our friendship was deeper and deeper. We were with each other though thick and thin, Aaron is my best friend. I am Aaron best friend. That's the fact and girls whom envied me last time during middle school and the freshman year of high school knew that Aaron and I are just friends who love each other a lot. I could see pain in their eyes whenever Aaron stood up for me or when Aaron tells me he loves me or when Aaron chooses me to be his partner for pair works, which we also pair up together.
Our bond is so strong that we are unbreakable together. His whole family know me well and my whole family knows Aron well. Of course, everyone will have a crush on Aaron, if you said you don't that means you are lying. Aaron is just drop dead gorgeous, no wonder why girls are always squealing when he wink or smile or smirk with them. I have to admit I have a small crush on Aron but he is my best friend and we have to be here for each other in a best friend zone. My heart flutter when Aaron decides to seduce me sometimes when he is kissed off with me. But I had gotten use to Aaron touching and talking to me after 14 years, I mean he is my best friend! He had dating literally every cheerleader and popular girls but he is a player, he does't have a proper girlfriend and rather have sex buddies with me. I'm really glad he never ask me to be friends with benefit. Well, even though Aaron Jared Grenzy is a player, he is my best friend and I love him, maybe more than I should, I'm not sure.
