Ah, Fredbears. The sounds of children screaming filled the air along with the scent of pizza and spilled sugary sofa.

Marie was here to meet up with Micheal and their other fitness, seeing them at one of the booths as she ran over, leaning against the side of the booth.

"Hey- sorry in late. My mom and I were fighting." She said as she rolled her eyes and then smiled as she reached over and pulled Michael into an awkward hug given the positions they were in.

"Hey, Mike- hey where is Evan is he here today? I wanna see my little Buddy."

"He is hiding." He says grumpily and Marie felt someone tug her pants. She looked down to see Evan.

"Hi." He whispers.

She had not been there, but she heard what happen, Elizabth had been killed by Baby a new animatronic her dad made. Evan had seen it and was out of school it emotionally stunted him. The life of the Afton family was not pretty this year. William threw himself into his work, Michael got a chip on his shoulder, and Clara Afton started to have severe depression and had to be hospitalized recently. Poor Evan had no one to help him threw this in his family. So he tended to cling to Marie who reminded him how his mama used to be. He knew she was Michael's friend but he enjoyed her company and felt safe with her when at the pizzeria where in his mind he could be killed and eaten like his sister was.

"Oh gee hey bud! Ya kinda scared me." She said as she smiled down at him. "Oh gosh look how tall you're getting! You're gonna be taller than me soon." She said smiling

He smiled at that and Michael scoffed. Marie glared at him, he has been taking a lot of his hurt out on his brother. Marie knew he lost a sister too, and his dad did not like him. Now with his mom in mental issues, it was hard on him, but it really get on her nerves.

"So I saved up all my dimes." She tells him. "Why don't you and I ride the carousel for a few hours."

"Marie I asked you here-"

"And your dad asked you to watch Evan, not have him under the table." She snapped back. "Come on Evan I need a big strong boy to help escort me."

He smiled and nodded taking her hands and leading her to the carousel. Marie was like the older sibling he needed. She was slowly building him up.

Marie wanted to hang out with Micheal but she didn't want to be around him when he was acting that way. Truthfully she could understand guilt and anger but to allow it to affect others negatively was childish at this point and it pissed her off.

"Alright one two three." She said as she lifted Evan onto the horse.

He smiled and she started the ride up standing next to him on it. The carousel was the only thing he liked about Freddy's now. She did not know why Mr. Afton did not get a sitter. He was more than wealthy enough.

They continue to spend most of the day on it that is when Mr. Afton came over. It was time for his lunch break and he planned to spend it with his sons to online find Michael had invited his friends and no Evan in sight. Michael told him Marie had him. William went to find Marie at least Evan was with someone responsible. When he saw her and saw how happy Evan was his heart raced and it was like she was the only person there. Her and his son. Her holding him on her hip and him laughing. He felt his face heat up and his heart hammer in his chest. How did he not notice it before...

"Okay I gotta get off now bud- I'm getting all dizzy." She said as she hopped off the ride and held her hand out to help him jump off before she noticed William.

"Oh hey there Mr.Afton."

"Does he always smile like that with you?" William asks.

"Oh?" She looks at Evan who was grinning.

"I guess he does most of the time, why?" She asks.

"Would you like to be his sitter for the summer, when I am at work I cannot keep an eye on him, he has had a difficult year and I do not trust Michael to not torment him, I will pay you will... I just, I have not seen him smile like that since his sister..." He stopped. "You would be paid well, have food on the house, and all the free tokens you want."

Marie could hear how William was only desperate for this, something she never hear the British American say. She also could use the money. She was saving up for her own car since she was taking a cap year. She was going to look for a job soon too...

"Okay, that sounds good, Mr. Afton." She says

"Call me William Marie, you are an adult now." He says smiling widely

His smile was always a bit off. Too wide and made people unnerved when they saw it. Marie was used to it though.

"So I get to see her every

day?" Evan asks holding her hand.

"Yes, you do Evan," William says.

He broke out into a grin and it warmed both their hearts. William gripped his hands never had he felt this way, not even for his wife Clara. He married her after she accidentally got pregnant with Michael. After that, it was just to look like a normal person. But this his heart is racing his cheeks are flush. He may have actual feelings of love for someone. He did not know if he liked it though, but he knew he could get addicted to it and her!

Marie gave a smile as she looked down at Evan. "You and I are gonna spend some more time together buddy. Imma go tell Micheal." She said as Evan asked to stay behind with his dad Marie looked at him before smiling.

"Okay- Yo Micheal!" She yelled as she jogged over.

"Thank you, dad." Evan says and William ruffled his son's hair.

He will have her, she was his now.

"No problem Buddy. This will be good for both of us." He said

He smiles happily and William picks him up. "Now what would you like for lunch?"

It was sweet almost. If he was not using his son to get closer to her.
