Brent shows up at my apartment. "We need to talk." He mutters. "I think we'd better." I reply. I lead him to the couch and we sat down. "Where's Andrew?" "He's out getting some groceries." I respond. "Would you like some water?" I ask. "No thats alright."
He pauses. "Listen, I want to apologize for how I acted the other day at your announcement party." He continues. "That was really dramatic, Brent. What happened?" I question. "I don't know, I guess I was just hurt." "Brent.." I say, with remorse. "Why didn't you tell me?" He asked. "Because I know how you feel about me dating, let alone carrying a child. I mean just look at how you acted at the party." I explain. "Yeah, that was pretty dramatic."
I start to chuckle. "Whats so funny?" He asks. Now I'm breaking down laughing. "What? Whats so funny?!" He yells, confused. "You look so ridiculous!" I laugh. His hair is a mess and his shirt is on inside out and backwards. "Oh my- I didn't even notice!" He laughs. "Come here, Brent."
We hugged for maybe 30 seconds before Andrew walks in. "Oh, hey Andrew, whats-" Then I freeze. I look over at Brent's face and he looks beyond shocked. My jaw must have been on the floor, because Brent had to bring up my mouth. And I can't believe who is standing next to him.
