Kailani Goes... Crazy? (Ft. Wanderer aka Kuni)

Kailani and Kuni would be surrounded by the Fatui, hardly any plans of escaping.

'What the hell is this?' Kailani thought, 'Why are we being attacked out of thin air?'

As both of them frantically look around for an escape, Kailani sees someone familiar in the distance. Her eyes became wide opened and before she knew it, she let out a loud scream in pain.
Kuni quickly looked at Kailani then back at the Fatui infront of him, throwing the first punch.

"My my, it seems that we got the controlled shock working~" A familiar voice said.

"Dottore..." Kuni mumbled under his breath, looking at the direction of the voice.

"Poor Kailani thinking that she can escape with the help of a friend.. pathetic as always." Dottore said, looking at the crying figure below him. "So pathetic and weak."

"Step away from her, Dottore." Kuni threatened.

"Hm... I think what you should do is stay away from her." Dottore warns as he backs up from Kailani.

Kailani would stand up, no longer crying, no longer out of breath. Her colors darkened, just like a shadow would. She was looking down at the ground, her ears down and so is her tail, her wings spread out openly.

"I don't remember you, but if I were you, I'd stay away from my experiment. She can be... quite the dangerous cat." Dottore said, giving a small laugh.

Kailani would pick her head up, looking at Kuni with an emotionless facial expression. Her ears perked up, her tails staying down. Slowly, she started walking Kuni, her eyes piercing through his soul.

"As much as I want to watch this. I have to take my leave," Dottore smirked. "Have fun~"

Kuni didn't know that Dottore was walking away from the scene, his eyes were too fixated on Kailani's emotionless face.

"Ofcourse that stupid bitch had to shock Kailani..." Kuni mumbled in anger.

You've been through so much... being tortured from those Fatui Harbingers. He was apart of the Fatui Harbingers, but do you think it's a good idea to attack him?

Kailani stopped in her tracks, her ears twitching, her wings going down. She held her head in pain, looking at Kuni with fear flashing in her eyes.

Kailani, as much as you dislike me as your shadow, do not hurt him. He is your friend.

F̷r̷i̷e̷n̷d̷...

"Kuni..." Kailani whispered under her breath.

Leave. Him. Be.

Kailani screamed in pain, going on her knees as her wings covered herself. Kuni took a step forward to Kailani, but was pulled back by a shadow. He looked at it in anger.

"What are you doing to her?" He snapped.

Keep this as a warning. Don't go near her, not in this state. The shadow warned as it disappeared.

Kuni looked at Kailani, who was still on her knees, wings around her. He went to her and kneeled infront of her. He poked her ears, making them twitch. Her wings moved from her face as the upcoming tears formed.

"I guess even hybrids have emotions like humans... so sensitive." Kuni says in slight disgust.

"I-I.."

"Don't." Kuni demanded, "I know. Here, maybe this will make you feel better."

Kuni would stand up, taking one of Kailani's wings and start rubbing the tip of it.

"H-Hey!" Kailani yelled.

"Don't struggle, just enjoy it. You know you like it." Kuni stated.

Kailani would sigh as her other wing went down, slightly purring from the rubbing. As she hates to admit, the rubbing keeps her calm. She doesn't know how, but it's fine.

As long as she's calm...
