CHAPTER 13

Evelyn's POV

"Have you lost your mind or what? This is my appartment. You cant just barge in and invade my privacy." I said a little louder while placing my hands in front of my chest. My movement did not go unnoticed by him as his gaze shifted towards my chest. There was a complete silence for a minute as I was waiting for him to reply. I really need to step up for myself. He is the mafia king so what he can't order me around. What will he do..huh?...Kill you dumb head. My mind replied immediately. Ahh.

Suddenly I felt the room getting hotter as he came closer to me. There was no space left between us as he leaned forward.

"Tesoro, I own this fucking county and now I own you too. So stop throwing tantrums like a kid. I know you are exhausted and so I am so lets sleep. Come on." He said calmly which sounded more dangerous. He does not need to raise his voice as his calm voice can only make someone pee in their pants. I knew there is no point in arguing with him but at least I tried. Really did you, Eve? I rolled my eyes at my thoughts.

"Get freshened up. I will order something for you till then. Do you want anything special for dinner? He asked moving backwards.

"Actually I had dinner at restaurant today. I am not hungry. " I said while fidgeting with my fingers.

"Really? What did you eat?" He asked while raising his eyebrow.

"Luke made pasta for me so I am really full." I said the truth. Suddenly I was pushed back on the wall again as Alexandro held my chin tightly. We were dangerously close as our nose were touching.

"Tesoro, do you remember dead bodies of those guys who were chasing after you that day?" I swallowed hard as he asked. How can I forget that night. Fear errupted in my body.

" Answer me, Baby." He asked again while keeping a harsh grip on my chin.

"Y-yes." I said as a tear roll down my eye.

"Keep that picture in your mind. If you don't stay away from this guy then next dead body will be his and of any other guy who will try to come near you. And I promise you Tesoro I will give him an even more dangerous death than a simple bullet." He replied as I started shivering badly. His eyes were seeming more darker. I knew this look. This was how he looked when he killed those boys. I nodded in response as no words were coming out of my mouth.

He backed off and turned around. I could hear him growl as he ran his hands through his hair. I knew he was trying to calm himself down. I was standing there like I had just seen a ghost.

"Go and get freshen up. I am waiting in your bedroom and don't try to pull a stunt." He said and without sparing a minute I ran towards my bathroom. Fuck that night when I went to Mia's mansion for the first time. I want to scream in frustration right now. What does he think of himself. He cant control my life like this. What if I blackmail him that I will tell Mia about his identity. What I am thinking. Next thing I know that I will be a missing person like those guys. All right. I only had to share my bed with him. Tomorrow I will find solution of this problem but right now I am really exhausted.

I decided to be calm for the night. I took a nice shower which helped me alot to calm my mind. I wore my shorts and tank top which was already there in the bathroom. I walked out of the bathroom.

I saw him standing in my bedroom as he was closely observing my wall which was covered by photos of kids from my orphanage and me. Also some of my friends from there. There was my childhood photo also.

"That is me." I said as I noticed him observing it. He turned around.

"Yes I know. I can never forget these doe eyes of yours." He said as he walked towards me.
