summary:

"pandas, please let me go wit him," dream says, pleading and looking up at sapnap with hopeful eyes.

sapnap glares at punz. "dream one second, punz and i are going to talk in the other room."

"no we aren-" before punz can finish speaking, sapnap is dragging him out of the room and into george's which is currently empty. he shuts the door behind them before speaking.

"what's going on?" sapnap asks, clearly angry and confused.

"nothing you need to know about." punz replies.

he's stubborn, just like how dream had been.

when punz is walking back to the tower, he passes through the community house. none other than sapnap stops him.

"what the fuck was that about dude?" sapnap stops him, putting a hand on punz's shoulder.

punz looks around, "where's sam?"

"ant took him. now tell me what you did with dream."

punz shrugs his shoulders. "nothing much," he says before trying to push past sapnap.

sapnap has other plans, pulling out his sword. "tell. me."

"fuck off dude. it's none of your business."

"your talking about my best friend, who has been tortured and manipulated. it's my fucking business."

"you think your dream's only friend, don't you," punz scoffs. "you know nothing about me and dream. you abandoned him."

"he was different then! i didn't know this would happen. now answer my god damn question."

"we talked."

"about what."

"nothing that concerns you."

punz finally pushes past sapnap, walking ahead.

"hey! dude i'm serious. what did you do," sapnap says, walking up behind him.

"i told you already."

"don't give me some sarcastic bullshit. what happened."

punz ignores him most of the way there, when they reach the tower, sapnap is still yelling in punz's ear.

"a potion," punz suddenly answers before walking inside the tower.

"what?" sapnap asks.

"i gave him potions. so he could heal a little bit. now get off my property, sapnap."

sapnap glares at him before turning on his heel to leave. he's had enough of punz.

and for tonight, he shouldn't be focused on that idiotic man. dream is his main concern.

the next morning, dream wakes up to sapnap's hands on his shoulder.

"dream!" the blond sits up, startled, breathing heavily, confused as to where he is.

where are the obsidian walls, and the boiling hot lava, and the cauldron, and the-

"you had a nightmare," sapnap says. "you're- you're safe, okay bud? no one will hurt you."

dream nods in understanding. "pandas," he whispers.

sapnap smiles. "yes dream, it's pandas."

dream starts to look down. "i- where- are we still in kinoko?" he asks.
