W clutched her arm as she leaned against the wall, her chest rising and falling with each deep breath she took as she cursed to herself.

In all honesty, she never expected the mission to go that bad, it was simple really. Distract Rhode Island while Skull-shatter grabbed Misha and then get the hell out of dodge when he was done. It was simple, easy and all in all shouldn't be too hard.

That was her mistake. Even as a mercenary, the main rule of being a merc is 'Never underestimate the enemy'. That and 'Finish the contract unless it is impossible to do so'.

It was a big mistake in all honesty, once she looked back on it.

She never did expect for Rhode Island to immediately engage her and her men.

She never did expect for Rhode Island to already have Misha in their custody.

And she certainly didn't expect to get hit in the arm by a red headed sankta wielding an SMG.

'The fucking bitch' she thought to herself with a growl as she ripped off a piece of her balaclava and tied it around her wound, managing to stop the bleeding for the time being.

Leaning against the railing of the building, W coughed violently before standing to her feet, her legs shaking all the while as her hands were covered in blood, both hers and the enemy's.

Managing to stand on her own two feet as she looked down at the street below, she watched The Rhode Island members as they mopped up what remained of her mercenaries and the reunion members with her

That caused W to give a small snarl at the sight before being pulled from her thoughts as she could hear footsteps running up the stairs. The door flew open to reveal the Rhodes Island mascot herself, accompanied by a Raven haired Lupo with a pocky stick in her mouth and, conveniently, the same Red haired Sankta that shot her.

"It's over, W." The Cautus girl said, giving her a firm look as she held up her hand as a black and red orb of energy crackled in the palm of her hand.

"Oh..Amiya. You poor girl." W said with a chuckle and shook her head, her red antennae twitching as she did so.

"You don't get it, do you?" She asked with a smile as she stood up onto the ledge.

"We don't have to do this, there's been enough blood spilled already." The now identified Amiya said as she tried to reason with the Sarkaz merc, causing said woman to give a small chuckle.

"Sorry, little bunny. My work here isn't over, not by a long shot." W replied, looking out at the Urban jungle that was Lungmen. Glass and steel towers reaching the heavens as colorful lights danced between the buildings.

She rubbed her head as a sudden migraine came on, shaking it and managing to make it go away, at least for now. Looking back at the three, she gave a wide grin and said her goodbye.

"Before I go, Amiya, I must ask. Which one is the real you?" W asked the Brown haired rabbit girl with a wide grin, causing her to raise a brow in confusion.

"..what do you mean by that?" She asked curiously and with a non noticeable edge in her tone, thinking she had a trick up her sleeve.

"You'll find it out soon enough." Was all W replied with before she leaned back and fell over the railing of the building and began her rapid descent towards the ground.

Turning her head back to get a good idea of where to land, W gave a loud "Oh shit!" as she rapidly descended towards the ground and collided with a Lungmen guard department cruiser.

The last thing she ever saw was a police officer standing over her with a concerned look before darkness consumed her vision.

—------

Black.

That was all W could see was pure utter blackness that stretched on for as far as her eyes could see. Up, down, left, right, anywhere she looked the darkness seemed to stretch on and on.

'Where am i?...Is this some sort of hell? No it can't be. Hell has fire and brimstone shit.' she thought to herself as she looked around for some sort of way out...if there was one that is. The thought caused her to grimace as she floated around the empty void.

And so with nothing left to do, the Sarkaz mercenary began to float around as if she were underwater, humming an old war song all the while as she tried to find a way out.

And then it happened.

W covered her eyes as she was suddenly hit with a bright white light and caused her to yelp in surprise by how sudden it was.

Moving her arm aside, she saw a bright white square hovering in the void, almost like it was some sort of door.

She felt white creep up in her vision as some unknown force pulled her through the door and towards a destination unknown.

—-------

She shot awake with a gasp, sweat trickling down her forehead as her heart pounded against her rib cage like a battering ram as W sat up.

Leaning over to the side, W emptied her lunch onto the ground as her frame shook. The adrenaline slowly got evacuated out of her system as her mind tried to process what just happened for the past...hour? Two hours? She didn't know how long she was out for nor did she know what the hell happened.

Getting up, W slowly looked around, her eyes adjusting to the surrounding area as she gathered her bearings.

Shouldering her Grenade launcher and picking up her assault rifle, she looked around before turning around and found herself standing next to a destroyed police cruiser. The front window shattered with blood being smeared across the dashboard, almost as if the driver was pulled out.

'Does this look different?' she thought to herself as she looked at the police cruiser. Shaking her head, she filed away those thoughts for later, until she found out where she was.

The first thing she noticed was that the buildings were vastly different from the ones she previously saw, which was odd as she remembered the buildings of Lungmen being more colorful with more ads and billboards.

Secondly was that there wasn't any Rhode Island personnel in the street...or anyone for that matter. There was nothing save for trash, ruined cars and the occasional bird or animal she saw.

Shaking her head once more, she walked down the street, rifle raised as she scanned the area for potential hostiles or anyone unfortunate enough to be in her way.

She never did notice a nearby sign hanging over a building that read out 'Tarkov police department'.
