I look at my own reflection on the mirror.
No more with the feminine clothes.
No more with floral dress, colorful clothes, and brown hair in big curls.
It was all replaced. Replaced with dark, ragged looking clothes, thick eyeliners and to top it all of, my newly colored hair.
Funny how I learned to despise light and colorful clothes yet had my hair dyed in pink.
So stupid...
The girl in the mirror is someone different from the Jessie I used to know five years ago.
I'm almost starting to forget what happened years ago except that whenever I tend to, the scar on my wrist brings back my memory of it.
There's no point in reminiscing the past Jess.
I looked at myself again in the mirror. I'm wearing a leather jacket with a statement T-shirt underneath it matched with my self-made maong shorts.
How long do you intend on pretending to be someone that you're not Jess? How long?
I stopped debating with myself when I heard my phone ring. I immediately answered it.
"Yow! Yow! Yow! Whatcha doin'babe? "
the girl on the other line muttered.
"Seriously Candy? Does anyone still talk like that? " I said as I huddled around to get my stuff ready.
"Oww, you're such a killer, anyway, where are you? The party is about to start babe, " I bet she's doing that I'LL-BE-DISAPPOINTED-IF-YOU-DONT-SHOW-UP face again.
"Yeah, yeah babe, be right there, bye! " Candy was still mumbling something which I bet is an additional preach on my habit of being late so I immediately ended the call and run off towards the door and grabbed my key.
That's right Jess. A whole night of partying is just what you needed right now.
