Auroras POV

Mama came a woke me up. "Aurora get up you need to go to go debb meeting" "ugh" I said and got up.

I got up and curled my hair and pined my curtain bangs back.

It was so hot outside so I didn't put on a sweater. I put on makeup and perfume.

"Heyy good lookin..." I sung the song

I walked down stairs. Elvis James and Jesse wasn't there. "Where are the boys?... And Gladys?" "They went to go get suits" "ohh... Ok?" Why did James have to get one and Jesse? What?.

"Aurora take my car" she said "I can't drive ya" "oh uh ok" I said and walked out.

I got in the car and started it up.

I got to the Country Club. "Aurora!" Florence said "heyy girl" I said as I hugged her. "You wanna go to Victoria's Secret after this?" "Oh uh s-sure" I said I don't know if Victoria Secret was a thing back in the 50s but whatever. "We're going to get ya a good bra instead of a junkie sport one" she said "whatever"

A girl walked by "I like your dress" "thank ya" I said smiling "yup"

I walked over to the phone "hey ma I'm goin to the mall with Floral" "ok be back by 9 pm"

Right now it was 11 and we get out at 2.

12:45

"This is so borin" I whisper to Florence. "I know... We still got an hour" "danm" she giggled

2:00

Florence got dropped off so we are taking mamas car "can I drive?" "Hell no you didn't bring your permanent even" "well it didn't fit in my bra" "well take out the toilet paper then maybe it would fit" "that's mean!" I giggled " not everyone is a 34D" she said getting in the car. "So we are going to get ya 3 bras" "who buying those?!" "Me!" "Yeah right" I said rolling my eyes. "I'm being for real" she said.

Tomorrow we have to go back to the club and we have to learn the dance with our date which is elvis..

At the mall

"They guys what we looking for" "some bras" Florence said "yeah sure what size" "3-" I cut off Florence "34D" "ok follow me!"

"Here you go these are all 34Ds" "thank you" "pick out 3" Florence said "I will.."

I found a red one with lace a baby blue one and a white one with lace "Okk those are cute" she said. "I know" I said flipping my hair. She giggled

She payed and we left. Old women were looking at us in disgust. "I think we are famous" I said and she giggled "I guess so"

I dropped off Florence. "Bye thank ya for buyin those" I said "your welcome elvis is goin to love them" she said winking at me. "Eww stop!" I giggled

4:00

I walked in the house. Elvis was sitting on the couch "Heyy baby" he said "hiii" I said he looked down at my bag and blushed. I walked into the kitchen. Gladys and mama we're talking. "Ooo let me see what ya got" mama said. She opened the bag "those are cute" she said "those are really cute" Gladys said. I went up to my bed room and elvis came in shutting the door.

He sat on my bed watching me put my bras in my drawer. "Whatcha want" I said not looking up. "Nothin" he said.

The next day...

Today we have to practice the dance. Yay...

I changed out of my big t-shirt and shorts into a black skirt and a white long sleeve shirt.

And elvis was wearing black slacks with a white shirt.

" ready?" He asked "yup"

Kendra's POV

me and Gladys are redoing aurora room. Her room has been the same since she has been 10 and now she is 16 I thought we could change it into something that she'll like. I know she likes her room now but she has been wanting to change it.

I painted half of her wall white and the other side white with pink flowers. I put up her new bed and got her a vanity. I put her pictures up on the wall and the one with her and elvis in a photo booth back on her night stand.
