Prom week came by fast.. Like really first. "IT'S A CRUEL SUMMER WITH YOUUU" I said curling my hair.

Elvis was at Gladys and Vernons house getting ready. Charlotte was in her swing that Was mine when I was a baby..

I was still in my pink silk night gown.

I grabbed Charlotte and got her changed.

"Ooo you look so pretty" I kissed her for head gently and put her back in the swing. My friend violet was coming over to get ready with me.

I let her in. "She does look like Elvis" "I know" I giggled. She was looking at pictures of me and him on the wall.

"I like that one of you guys" she said

The prom was at 5 and it was 4:00

We started doing our makeup. 4:30 Charlotte started crying. I was done with my hair and makeup all I had to do was put on my dress. I help Violet put on her dress hers was a long white dress. "BOY IT'S YOUUUU THAT I LAY A WAKE OO OH BOY IT'S YOUU" I sung. We got my dress on.

Gladys came up and grabbed Charlotte and told me to come down stairs.

I started walking down stairs and Gladys was taking pictures and Vernon was holding Charlotte. Elvis smirked. He hugged me "ya look gorgeous" he said and kissed me "you look cute" I giggled.

We got outside and he opened the door. "Thank you" I said getting in the car "your welcome" he said smiling.

We got to the school.. I haven't seen the teachers in forever.

We got some food and drinks. "Let's take some pictures" he said taking my hand.

The song ended "so do ya want to go to the after party?" Elvis walked away with red. 'Great' I thought. I walked out of the gym and went to the bathroom.

When I walked out elvis was talking to red still. But red was with his date too. I walked over and elvis put me on his lap and whispered to me "where did ya go" I whispered back "bathroom" "ohh" he said. When he whispered to me I sent shivers down my spine.

Elvis was whispering sweet nothing to me. Red date was looking at me in disgust. "Can I help you" I said "no" "then stop lookin at me" red whispered to her and she stopped looking at me. "She's just jealous" elvis whispered to me "she's not worth it" he said.

I walked up stairs. I checked on Charlotte. Elvis came into the bedroom "mama and daddy left" "ok" I said "can ya undo my dress please" "sure" he said I moved my hair. I let my dress fall to the ground. My red Lacey bra and panties is all I had on. Elvis came and spun me around so I was facing him.
