Soul x Maka One-Shots

The Cake

"I'll be back later Maka!"

"Okay, Soul!", I shouted to Soul as he walked out the front door.

"Great, Souls off to play basketball with the guys and knowing how Black*Star is, he won't be home for a while!", I say to my self as I go find the strawberry shortcake recipe.

Once I found the recipe, that was stored away with the other recipes, I begin looking for the ingredients. "Sugar.., eggs.., shortening.., baking powder.., some salt.., flour.., milk.., whipped heavy cream.. and what else...", I stood there thinking a bit and decided to look back at the recipe.

I mentally smack myself,"Oh! I'm so dumb! Strawberries! That's what I need! I hope Soul didn't eat both of the containers considering I need about one for the cake.", I look in the fridge and sighed in relief,"Great, there's one left in here."

I grabbed the strawberries and started to bake the cake.

~two hour later~

"There! All done" I say as I put the finishing touches on the cake.

I heard the front door open,'Just in time.' I thought.

"Oi, Maka! I'm home!" I hear him take a long sniff,"What did you bake? It smells delicious!"

I hear him walking to the kitchen, so I decided to get myself in position.

As Soul walked into the kitchen, I held the cake in my hands and shouted,"Happy Birthday Soul!"

"Thanks Maka", Soul flashed me his signature smirk.

I put the cake down on the counter and grabbed a plates, two forks, and a knife. I use the knife and cut a piece of the cake and put it on the plate.

"Here you go!" I gave Soul his piece of cake.

"Thanks", Soul replied as he walked to the couch."Maka don't you want any cake?"

"No I'm good!" I say as I wash the dishes. Once I'm done I walk over to Soul and sit down reading a book.

As I was reading I see Soul putting a piece of cake that is on the fork in my face. "Soul? What are you doing?"

"Just eat it"

"Uh.. okay..", I went to eat the piece off the fork when he jerked the folk back to him and he ate it.

"Hey! I thou-" I was cut off by Soul's lips. I was shocked at first but, I then melted into the kiss. 'I didn't know Soul was a good kisser. Wait.. Is his tough in my mouth?!' I open my eyes in shock once again and Soul broke the kiss.

"How was the cake?" He says smirking at my red face.

'There was cake? Now that he mentions it. I did taste the strawberry shortcake.'

"I..It was good." I say trying to reassure myself.

"Good", Soul says as he puts his arm around me and began to cuddle. "I love you, Maka." He says as he looks down at me smiling a sweet smile.

"I love you, too, Soul" I say smiling back at him.
