Chapter 5 - First Date

Jin and Yoongi are back from home after their first 'Fake' date... As soon as they stepped foot into the apartment, a group of 5 annoyingly cute dongsaengs ran towards the oldest, knowing Yoongi would never say anything... Not even with Jimin's puppy dog eyes, Taehyung's pout or Jungkook's bunny smile... nothing can bring Yoongi to open up about something he wants to keep it a secret... Especially when it involves their World Wide Handsome hyung...

So, they will take their questions to someone who might give in to their cute gestures and they also have Namjoon and Hoseok on their side... I mean who won't be interested in knowing how the date between a stereotypical introvert and broad shoulders go? They pulled Jin into the living room...

"Hyung...hyung... how was it?"

"Did you guys held hands?"

"Did you two kiss?"

"How does it feel to have a boyfriend shorter than you?"

"GIVE US THE STEAMY DETAILS HYUNG"

"Okayyyy... leave him alone you stupid (Except for Namjoon) brats... Let my boyfriend breath" Yoongi said with a smugly smile... while wrapping his one arm around the oldest member's waist... all the said men squawked... But they noticed the odd behavior of Jin who has been quiet the entire time... He said nothing but his eyes were wide open and face was red... Wonder why?

Few hours ago

SeokJin never thought he would fake date a person he has been in love with for years now... When Yoongi said that the management had asked him to date someone from the popular ships he was expecting himself to be sitting in the cozy cafe with the second oldest member of their group...

"I am sorry for dragging you into this mess with me, Hyung" Yoongi said, looking at the menu... Nope, it's not a date... they are actually here to discuss how they will 'pretend' to be dating... Which made Seokjin frown a little because he really wants to date this walking male version of Snow White...

"You don't have to apologize for anything Yoongichi... I am always happy to help" Seokjin gave a small yet sweet smile before he continued "But I don't understand one thing" Yoongi arched an eyebrow towards the older among two "Why me?"

"Huh?"

"I mean... you could have asked anyone from the group to pretend but why me?"

"Why? You don't want to date me? Do you like someone else?"

"WHAT? Hell no... Why do you assume that I like someone else (Who is not you)?"

Yoongi shrugged "Thought maybe you wanted to keep your Namjin ship slaying as you both are Eomma and Appa of the group" Jin gasped dramatically and pointed his index finger in Yoongi's direction "If you want to sleep peacefully tonight... TAKE THAT BACK... I never thought of that Grape King more than a good friend and bandmate... And if anything I ship us to-" He didn't get a chance to complete the waitress came to ask for their order...

"I would like-" Yoongi stopped talking when he saw how shamelessly the pink haired waitress was checking Jin out... "Hey Pink slime" He got no response and Jin felt uncomfortable under her lustful gaze...

"I am talking to you, Poppy from Pop Trolls" The pink hair related nicknames were hilarious to Jin... therefore, he bit his lips to prevent himself from laughing out loud... "Listen here Lilly Pilly, Stop looking at my boyfriend like he is some sort of meal before I gouge your eyes out and play tennis" His voice was so deep that made not only the waitress but also Jin shiver at the low growl... But soon the heat started reaching his ears and cheeks when he realized what Yoongi called him... 'My Boyfriend'

The waitress gave them both a disgusted look for the same thing... "Aren't you both idols? How come you are allowed to date and that too with each other?" Jin clenched his fists... he was about to reply when someone else behind the waitress said "I don't think it is your business to care about... Your job is to take orders and serve the meal... don't get too involved in other people's stuff... Idol or not... it's their personal life and the least I want is for my customers to feel uncomfortable because my employee is an asshole" the owner of the cafe said which made the waitress look down in shame... "Ari will take their order you can leave... and if you don't want to get fired keep your mouth in check from the next time" the lady in her 60s made it crystal clear to the waitress who ran into the kitchen and another waitress called Ari took their order...

Rest of the 'date was peaceful as they silently ate and after paying the bill they went towards the counter to thank the old lady... "Thank you so much ma'am" Both Seokjin and Yoongi said... "Aish... don't say thank you to me... she was being inconsiderate if anything I am sorry for her behavior... I don't understand why people are always so quick to judge..." Seokjin and Yoongi talked to the lady for a few minutes before they decided that it's finally time to go back home...

Before they could leave the owner yelled "Hey kids" they looked towards her "YOU BOTH LOOK GREAT TOGETHER" She happily continued making Yoongi chuckle... Seokjin was a blushing mess but what made his heart jump out of his chest was... Yoongi wrapped on arm around his waist and

Kissed his cheek...
