Sanford? Sanford. SanFORD! SANFORD!!! Wake UP."
"Ugh... arghh... no. Go away.."
"Noooo, c'mon man you PROMised." Deimos whined.
Sanford rolled over and shoved his face into the pillow. He did not want to anymore. He regretted making that promise so bad right now. Not this early. The sun wasn't even up yet.
If anything, Sanford and Deimos were like an inseparable pair. Two peas in a pod. The dynamic duo. The two amigos of danger. Two best friends on a mission to end the Auditor, Jebus, and Tricky's terror, with some occasional help from their big friend Hank.
On this particular day, Sanford had promised Deimos a day together with him, no fighting, no violence , no Hank. [ :{ poor hank he needs a break too guys cmon]
"C'monnnnn Sanford, get UP! We have to get you up if we're ever gonna have fun today." Deimos flopped on top of Sanford, lifting up his eyelid and smiling at him.
"Alright, alright. I'm up I'm up," Sanford said, sitting up and easily pushing Deimos off him. He yawned and stretched, before putting his sunglasses on and getting out of bed.
Deimos leapt up from the floor and ran down the stairs, making coffee as fast as he could. It seemed like he didn't even need any coffee at this point.
Already dressed, Deimos quickly made a few pieces of toast, putting them on plates, and setting it and the coffee on the table.
Sanford came down the stairs, dressed in his usual grey camo pants and head... thing, Deimos forgot what it was called, and a plaid white, loose t-shirt.
"Oooh, wearing a shirt today, 'Ford. That's new," Deimos said, sitting at the table already and kicking his legs excitedly under the tablecloth.
"Uh huh. We're going out today, figured I shouldn't go boob-out in public. Might shock a few people." Sanford commented, taking a seat and sipping his drink.
"Awwww c'mon that's the best part of you though." Deimos smiled charmingly, resting his head in his hands.
"I'm sure YOU think it is. I know how many times you've stuck your face on my chest," Sanford said affectionately yet blandly.
Deimos blushed furiously.
"Good coffee you made, Dei. Thanks," He said, eating a last bite of toast.
"Oh. Thank you."
One quick cleanup later, and the two were off in a little black ford pickup truck. They sped along a almost empty highway, enjoying the calm morning sun. It wasn't everyday they got to see it without getting brutally pummeled.
"Nice out there, huh?" Sanford asked, driving calmly and tapping his fingers to the tune of a song on the radio.
"Mm hmm. It looks so weird without blood in my eyes. Kinda wish we could see it like this every morning," Deimos replied, looking out the window like a little child eger to see a plane in the sky, and pressing his hands and face to the window.
"Me too, Deimos. Me too." Sanford said quietly. "So. How did you sleep last night? You seem well rested this morning."
"Oh very well. I had a hard time falling asleep though. I'm still super excited. Where are we gonna go first? What-what's the plan for today?"
"Hmmm. Well...." Sanford said, rubbing his chin thoughtfully. "I was thinking..." He said slowly, dragging out his words to annoy Deimos.
"AGHHHH, TELL ME!!!" Deimos flailed, hyped and tense.
