Next Morning

A soft golden glow filtered through the hospital window, casting a warm light across the sterile room. Nestled in a plush hospital bed was a little girl, Yn, curled up like a kitten beneath the covers. Her cheeks were rosy from sleep, and her tiny breaths rose and fell gently. Two figures slouched nearby on the couches, eyes closed but alert even in rest - Jin and Yoongi, her two overprotective elder brothers. They had refused to leave her side all night but were eventually coaxed into resting by Namjoon and Hoseok.

Author's POV

The room remained quiet until the soft click of the door opening stirred the stillness. A doctor walked in, clipboard in hand, accompanied by a nurse.

"Good morning, Mr. Jin," the doctor greeted with a polite nod. "I'm here for Miss Yn's morning checkup."

Jin blinked awake, brushing sleep from his eyes and straightening up. "No problem, doctor. Go ahead."

Yoongi rubbed his eyes as well, quickly alert. He shifted closer to Yn's bed, keeping a protective eye on her.

The doctor began his routine. Yn stirred, slowly blinking her doe eyes open. She looked around, confusion and mild panic flickering in her gaze. But the moment her eyes landed on Yoongi and Jin, her body visibly relaxed.

"Nurse, ready the injection," the doctor instructed.

"Okay, sir," the nurse replied calmly.

And just like that - time stopped for Yn.

Her breath caught in her throat. Her pupils widened. Her face drained of color. It was as if she'd been dropped into an icy river.

Yoongi noticed the sudden shift. He immediately moved to her side and gently picked her up, placing her on his lap. His arms wrapped protectively around her tiny frame.

"It's okay, kitty," he murmured into her hair, gently patting her back.

But Yn's eyes were locked on the glinting syringe. As the nurse approached, Yn squirmed violently, trying to escape Yoongi's grasp.

"No! No! Nooo! I-I don't want that! Please!" she cried, little fists pounding weakly.

Yoongi held her gently but firmly. "Kitty, it'll just sting a little, I promise. Just a second, okay? Be brave for your oppa."

But she continued struggling until the injection was done. Then came silence - the tragic kind, with big watery eyes and a wobbling lower lip.

Ten Minutes Later

Yn sat on the bed with her arms crossed and a deep, stormy pout on her face. Her cheeks puffed, her brows furrowed, and her lips refused to uncurl from their grumpy frown.

Yoongi and Jin tried their hardest not to laugh.

"Our little warrior is angry now," Jin chuckled.

"Deadly injection got her real good," Yoongi smirked.

"Mr. Jin," the doctor turned to him, "she's good to go. Just complete the discharge paperwork. And young miss," he added kindly to Yn, "no more oily food, alright? We don't want to see you back here again."

Yn gave a soft, grumpy nod.

"I'll make your favorite food when we get home," Jin said sweetly, brushing her hair back.

"But first, we need to change you out of these hospital clothes," Yoongi added.

Jin stood. "I'll complete the formalities and double-check the security."

"Got it, hyung," Yoongi nodded.

In the Bathroom

Yoongi helped Yn through her morning routine. She washed her face, brushed her teeth, and slipped into a cozy pastel dress.

"Aww, you look like a cupcake, kitty," Yoongi grinned proudly.

Yn stayed quiet, fiddling with her fingers.

Yoongi knelt before her. "Kitty, I want to ask you something."

She blinked at him, alert.

"Why are you acting so... soft now? Last I checked, you were all ready to run away. Planning your big escape, weren't you?" His voice was playful but tinged with curiosity. "If you're still planning something, I'll save you the trouble - you can't run from us."

Yn's throat bobbed. Her voice was soft. "I-I know I can't escape... You're all too powerful. But... yesterday, I saw something."

"Something?"

"I saw worry in your eyes. I've never seen that before - not for me." Her voice cracked. "I... I've never had anyone care if I cried or hurt. And when Jin oppa held me, it felt... real. Like I mattered. I-I just... I thought maybe I could try. Try to belong here. Try having a family."

Yoongi's tough exterior melted like snow.

He reached forward and cupped her face, gently brushing away the tears. "Kitty... We kidnapped you, yeah, but not to hurt you. We just wanted a sister to love and protect. I promise, we'll give you all the love you've been missing."

Yn sniffled.

"Now come here," Yoongi said, spreading his arms. "Give me a sweet hug."

Yn hesitated for half a second before launching herself into his arms, squeezing him tightly.

"Now," he grinned, picking her up, "let's find Jin hyung before he files an extra form just for fun."

"Oppa! Piggyback ride!"

"As you wish, little queen."

In the Lobby

The guards blinked in surprise. Their stoic boss was grinning - grinning - with a giggling girl clinging to his back.

"OPPA!!!" Yn squealed as she spotted Jin at the reception desk.

Yoongi let her down, and she bolted forward, arms wide.

Jin's POV

I was scanning the discharge papers when I heard the most adorable shout.

"OPPA!!!"

I turned just in time to see a blur of pastel pink and bouncing curls race toward me. She wrapped her arms around my waist and looked up with a glowing smile.

"Aww, my princess is all better now," I said, lifting her in my arms.

She nodded, her grin lighting up my whole world.

Yoongi walked up with a smirk. "Hyung, all set?"

I nodded. "Let's head out. Others must be losing it by now."

As we walked out, guards surrounded us discreetly. The hospital was one of our properties, secured entirely for Yn's protection. Not even a whisper of her presence had reached outside.

We got into our car - black, sleek, and bulletproof. Yoongi sat beside her in the back, entertaining her with silly doodles on his phone while I sat up front.

Yn leaned against Yoongi's shoulder, eyes fluttering. "Oppa... I think... I like you guys. A little."

"Only a little?" Yoongi teased, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Hmph. Maybe more... if you make me pancakes when we reach home."

"Deal," he grinned.

From the front, I smiled.

Our little princess was starting to believe.

And just like that, a stolen girl began finding her place in the world.
