I walked into the ruins of a dream
Children's toys, women's clothes,
Left as if it was a tale of very old;
A woman lost her love,
The lost love made her lose herself;
Her children became her pillars,
The youngest forsook her,
She always sang songs of his return,
He came but never returned;
The outside world was too glamorous to forget,
Her son lost to her forever.
She lived on like the old tales
That stay between the pages,
Forgotten,
It was an art she mastered,
Her smile and laugh waited along
With her clothes and jewels
For the lover she lost.
Her smile and laughter rejoiced
Along with the lover she was finally united.
