Justice?

Lo'ak knew who would help us , Neytam. We talked to him and told him my mom's story he was on board and went to speak with Jake.

Now it was my part, I needed more evidence for the meeting. My dad was right no one would believe me over him. So I was going to talk too his new mate, she could probably feel through the bond if he had another mate.

Lo'ak couldn't be with me today because he had some chores to do for his dad so it was up to me to do this alone. I tracked her down , she was helping in the community gardens. I was feeling confident going into this, what was the worst that could happen?

"Excuse me could I speak too u "?  "Sure".
I told her the story and she had multiple emotions on her face , from shock to sadness to anger. "Do you have any proof "? You go and accuse my mate of this crime"?  She demands. I think "Well for one why would I just randomly go and say this , this is my home everyone here is my family. Why would I randomly say this about my dad"? This is very serious and not some silly joke." I am here to talk to you about a crime he committed that affected people's lives." I am angry now , I need justice to be held, my mother's voice is no longer here but mine is . I can do something and I will.

"I can tell u are being serious but that will not fly in a  council meeting. I also have to think if I want to help you. Think about this from my point of view. He is my mate and I love him very much, do you know what that feels like?" I think to Lo'ak then my mother. " yes, yes I do and I'm trying to help that person, do you know what that feels like ?" " Yes she replied. "if u can get a meeting going I might stop by, I have felt something about him mating with another? Or maybe I might forget it?" She half smiles and turns on her heal and walks away.

She never said she would help me but she didn't say no as well. I just need to check with Lo'ak too see if we got permission for the council meeting. It was still morning and I had found Lo'ak he had just come back from a hunt. "LO'Ak"I yelled. He hopped down "hi Azi. Did u get her to help us?"he tilted his head waiting for my response. I don't know, I think so. She will only help us if the there will be a council meeting. "Well you're in luck "! He smiled at me big. "You got permission "! I hugged him tightly so happy my mom will get a shot a justice.
"Im so happy Lo , you have been such a great friend"! He smiled "wow friend zoned" he said sarcastically.

I laughed and hit him lightly in the arm. He yelped." Ow ow i think you broke my arm " oh don't be a baby ". I laughed. He pouted and could see I was trying not to laugh as he bursted into laughter.

We both calmed down and stood there staring at each other. "It's tomorrow Azia are you sure you are gonna be ok "? I didn't answer. We walked to my hammock and I laid down. "Can you stay"? He laid down next to me "sure".
