|| first day in a new school ||

*Taurtis' POV*

"TAURTIS!! WE GONNA BE LATE AGAIN!",
were the first words I heard before I woke up. I slowly opened my eyes and saw Sam who was already ready for school.
"Finally", he sighed as he rolled his dark red eyes. "Come on, you have 10 minutes or else we can't buy something at the store!". 10 minutes were enough for me, right? Well I should get ready then and so I did. I stood up and started to change my clothes from my pyjama to my school uniform. After that I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and I kinda 'fixed' my hair so it wouldn't look to messy but I didn't really care about that just trying to get the good first impression.

"5 MINUTES!!", Sam shouted from downstairs. Dang it, already?! Well but otherwise I was ready or that's what I thought. "And don't you dare to forget your school bag, Taurtis!", I heard from downstairs. SHIT MY SCHOOL BAG!! I totally forgot to pack my stuff! I rushed to my school bag and just throw everything I needed in it. I then grabbed my school bag and went out of our room. I jumped down the stairs and Sam looked at me like I just jumped in a deep cave with spikes reaching to the sky. I perfectly landed in front of him and smiled at him to tease him just a little bit and he was definitely pissed at me for doing that. Sam and I were more like brothers then friends to be honest and as much as don't really like to be like a younger brother it's still adorable to know how much he actually cared for me.

"Hey at least I'm ready just in time", i said with a little giggle. "Don't do that ever again", he hissed in a protectively way. "You know better then me that I can't promise that, right?", I just responded and walked to the door to leave our house. Sam just gave a little growl at me and left the house as well. He locked the doors and we went to the store, hoping not to be too late. As we arrived at the store we usually buy our lunch for school it was closed for some reason. We went to check it out and saw a sign that said 'CLOSED UNTIL **/**/**** '
but no reason.

"Weird...", Sam mumbled. As we tried to figure out what this was about we heard the school bells ring. We looked at each other then ran as fast as we could to our school. Sam was way faster then me because of his bunny hybrid part. I always wondered where the hell he got the bunny hybrid thing but he never told me. After I finally got to the entrance of the school I looked at Sam a bit pissed because he didn't even thought of to at least slow down a bit. He just stood there and laughed at me.

"Really funny, Sam. You could at least slow down a bit", I said out of breath while looking at him with a pissed look in my face. But I couldn't stay serious for to long until I also started to laugh. "Come on, let's get finally in this god damn building I wished it had burn to dust in the holidays", Sam hissed at the last part and I had to laugh again. "You really do hate this school, don't you?", I said with a little laugh. He just looked at me as if I asked where I live but then we entered school and damn was it crowded. I guess we have new students and my guess just got proven as we tried to get to our lockers because I accidentally bumped into someone.

"omg- I'm so sorry", I said as I turned around to see a boy, just a head shorter then me, who looked at me with a mix of sapphire and iced blue eyes and gosh I fell in love with his eye color. He had darkish blonde hair and parrot parts like wings, tail and kind of ears. His school uniform had a red tie which means he is one of the new students. Sam looked over my shoulder to see who I bumped into.

"I told you that you will bump into someone if you're not looking where the hell you're going!", Sam whispered to me and I just rolled my eyes. I then looked again at the ado- I MEAN NEW... the new student. "What's your name?", I asked as he looked back into my eyes. "Oh- My name is Grian Minecraft", he said with a smile. "What's yor name?", he asked, still smiling. "My name is-", my thoughts cut me off.

"Tristan"

This name was like an echo in my mind and I caught myself shaking my head until I finally responded. "Taurtis... My name's Taurtis", I said trying to smile and I turned to my locker which was next to me. I could literally see their faces without even looking at them but I knew they were questioning the sudden silence I gave before saying my name. And before I could think of an excuse for that, Sam already put his hand on my shoulder and looked at me with a slight worried face. "Is everything alright, Taurtis?", he asked. I just nodded and gave him a little smile. He looked at me for a bit but then let go of my shoulder and just let me be. I opened my locker to put my stuff in it and grabbed just the things I needed for the first lesson. The blonde small boy was still next to us and waited for us. "So uh... What brings you to this school, Grian?", I asked after a few minutes. "... I just moved to Japan and this was the closest school near my house", he answered but I could hear that something bothered him. Well to be honest I can literally hear everything if I wouldn't have my headphones. My mother said it's a miracle that I have the ability to hear the world but I always said it's a curse because I never saw a purpose in this ability. I didn't want to annoy Grian on his first day at a new school so I was just quietly looking at him with a smile. "What about you? How long are you two in this school?", the little boy looked at us again with the adorable smile. "This is the second year for us", Sam said behind my shoulder looking at Grian and at this moment I realized that Grian looked like a child next to Sam. I mean I knew Sam would be taller then Grian because he was taller then me but it's still funny that Sam looked like an adult next to Grian.
