Years passed and Amy and Ranger became close Amy was on a trail ride and her phone went off her mom's best friend was calling her "Hry there Henny were mom was in the hospital and I just found out a hour ago that she passed away I'm so sorry for you're lost you are more than welcome to come over and talk about it" Amy started crying right away "Ok Lou all be right over" Amy ends the call and her and Ranger went back Ranger knew something was wrong with her but he didn't want to make her mad so he just didn't do anything when they got back Amy untcked Ranger and put him in his stall she got in her mom's old car and went to Lou's house "Hey Amy I'm so sorry about you're mom I know she met everything to you" "Thanks Lou I knew this was going to happen one say just didn't think it would be today do you know how she passed away?" "She was hit by a car on her way to get horse fed is what the hospital but I don't really know" " Can I stay the night and bring Ranger" "Of course I have a stall you can put him in for the night and all come with you to get your things"
