I had never wanted to kill someone more.

Well, apart from Thorn but we are not thinking about him, are we Rayne?

And we are also not talking to ourselves in our mind, idiot.

"Shut it." I hissed to myself, slapping my cheeks. I blushed when I realised Jess was staring at me, a confused expression on her face, most probably wondering why her stupid roommate just gave herself a red cheek. Rolling my eyes, I decided to whack her.

"Hey!" She groaned, wavering her arms and knocking over a bottle of blood red nail polish. "Give it a chance." She laughed before turning to apologise to the old lady as she bent over to clear up my roommate's mess.

"I told you no nails." I ground out, directing my unimpressed glare at the prepped up blonde lady currently swishing white swirls over the first layer of disgusting paint. How could someone love a job like this? I'm pretty sure if you inhaled enough of this stuff you'd be high. Well, maybe they are.

"And I told you, Tee said Bobby like girls like this." She giggled, clearly not disgusted by the fact she is trying to change herself, and me, for a guy. I guy I had never ever met. I snorted.

"Maybe Tee likes torturing me." I shot her a look.

"Don't be ridiculous, Rayne. You've never met him." She stated, clearly in the right. I grunted a response, not willing to actually admit what was going through my mind right now. I did not want to meet this Tee, and I most certainly didn't want to go out on a double date. What was the point? Every guy Jess brought back to the apartment never returned, they were there for one night, and only God knows what they were doing. Oh and me, those walls were definitely not sound proof.

I shuddered.

"Bobby," I chuckled, "I'm going to call him Mr blobby." Jess snorted at my response, shaking her head in disbelief at the comment, one that I was going to stick too. If your parents name you Bobby, be open for a little backlash.

"Please never say that to his face." She sniggered, standing from the vinyl chair and offering a newly polished nail hand to help me up. Rolling my eyes I let her pull me up before walking out of hell's door, turning to watch Jess pay for that suffering. "Let's go, the boys will be waiting!" She exclaimed spinning in circles and almost tripping over.

"Nice one, Ballerina." I laughed, watching her scrunch her nose up at my response. "Let's get this over with." I admitted reluctantly, falling into step with a nail babbling Jess as we headed for the Italian in the mall.

Gino's, my favourite restaurant. Ready to be my most hated place on earth because I agreed to leave the flat and walk into my worst nightmare. A date.

"Ooh they're here." Jess's high pitch squeak rang out, making multiple shoppers around us look up in shock, their heads snapping up to see a giddy, clapping girl by the of clearly embarrassed friend. Nudging her I grunted, quickly pushing her forward towards the restaurant door. Watching as my flatmate began to change herself from squeaky, excited Jess into the one that is here to impress, I almost gagged at the fact of how confident she made herself out to be, not the highly excitable woman I had just hit for being to loud.
