[II]- Dusk (Syn.)

|T|he day after, Luhan is standing again in the front of the huge gate, bracing himself for another day to either think or thank God why or that he's still alive eventhough he believe that his life is not worth living for.
    

He inhaled sharply, holding his breath while gripping on the gate handle like his life is depending on it. The moment he stepped inside, he knew that something's offbeat.
      

There, in front of him, are Minseok's friends sending death glares towards him. There's no Kim Minseok leading them.
      

One of them came over in front of Luhan and held his uniform's collar tightly.
      

"It's your fault why Xiumin's missing!" Kim Jongdae shouted angrily at Luhan before punching him, making Luhan stumbled backwards.
      

Minseok is missing?

|L|uhan was living in a house for years, not nearly a home. His family was crazy. His father was a dipsomaniac and always loves to beat the living daylights out of him just because it's his fault. But the censure must be on his father because his father was a murderer; the man killed his twin brother. Luhan may or may not be lucky because there's still a tinge of morality left on his father though.
 

He's still alive, hurting very bad but still alive.
 

Luhan's mother, on the other hand, was not as sick as his father but still insane. Who would left your own son on your murderer of a husband just because he's not straight as he supposed to be? Luhan's disappointed at her but still missing her little rarely.

|I|t's the second time Luhan received a gray note and it's starting to freak him out.
 

"We know it's not your fault." Luhan raised his head and stared at the two figures standing in front of him. He doesn't know who are these two.
    

"E-Excuse me?" it was the first time that someone approached Luhan.
        

"I'm Baekhyun." the smaller of the two introduced himself, smiling warmly. It irritates Luhan, for him that kind of smile is quietly saying that he's not forlorned, which is like slapping him with the fact that not even a single person is there for him to comfort him. Nobody's there to be with him, to tell him that it'll be alright, eventhough it's not.
   

No one's there to love him.
   

He'll rot in melancholia--alone.
   

"And this is Chanyeol, my boyfriend." he added, for which Luhan don't give a damn. They took the seats in front of Luhan's.
        

Luhan just stared at them stolidly.
       

"There's also this kid who went missing, three years ago. His name is Do Kyungsoo. He was kidnapped, by his stalker." Luhan frowned. What is this Baekhyun trying to say to him? He almost sounded like a person who's telling a horror story to a kid. Nevertheless, he remained quiet.
      

"Nobody knows who the stalker is." Chanyeol added. Luhan is now thinking that these couple are weirdos.
     

"So what are you trying to imply?" that was the first sentence that Luhan ever uttered to someone from his school.
    

"Be careful." Baekhyun replied silently, pure seriousness is plastered on his face. Luhan was slightly frightened.
         

"Kyungsoo was my best friend, Luhan. I don't want to happen to you what happened to him--"
     

"W-Wait, how did you know my name?" Luhan didn't catch Baekhyun's concern anymore as the latter's mention of his name heeded his apprehension completely.
        

"Kim Minseok and his unethical gang are popular and they have drag you with them. The only difference is that you're not one of them but merely a poor victim of their atrocious acts." Luhan would've laugh if only he didn't focus on calming himself from the mild-shock he felt after Baekhyun's mention of his name.
     

Why are they saying this to me? It's not like I'll be the next one or am I? But who will have an interest in me? No one of course, I'm just a nobody. These are the questions running on Luhan's head that he's itching to ask to the two but managed to only utter:
           

"W-Why?" as his vague question.
       

"I just remembered him from you that's why. You're both special in your own ways, y-you're both astrally splendid and it's killing me to know that someone like you would disappear like that. You're like one in a million you know? Maybe more than that." Luhan couldn't make out what Baekhyun have said.
              

But he's thankful that atleast someone have looked through him from the inside.
