Y/n isn't a late person, she mostly gets there just in time. Today, it just happened that she missed her train and had to wait for the other one since that was the only way on arriving faster at school, which made her be late at Mr. Ackerman's class, which she cursed herself for being late when she has a class with him. She already thought of multiple ways to apologize and actually make him feel at least a little bit of pity towards her and maybe, hopefully, he will let her go with just a warning since it's the first time she is late to his class.
She entered the classroom getting ready to say her long apology, that was before she bumped into someone that was in front of the door. When she looked up, she saw, Eren Yeager, she didn't had any problem with him she just wished he wasn't there at that specific time.

"You okay?" Eren quietly asked the girl to which she simply nodded as she watched how Mr. Ackerman was standing in front of both of them ready to lecture them.
"L/n, I see you are late as well as Yeager is." Mr. Ackerman started talking. "As a matter of fact, you two came at the perfect time." he said leaving both of them confused. "I was just going to assign teams for a project with the due date in 2 months from today and since both of you are late, you guys have to work together, because making you clean this classroom will only bring more mess." he explained.

Mr. Ackerman wasn't the best at pairing students because he really didn't care what relationship the students had between them, he just randomly picked out students and pair them. He always does pairs of 2 students only so the chances of actually ending up with someone you know better or like were close to 0. And on how perfect the moment was, it was more than predictable that something like this will happen.

Great! Is he even good at project work?

I didn't even needed a plan, Armin and Mikasa will never believe this one.

"What?" both Mikasa and Armin said at the same time.
"Yes! Lucky, aren't I?" Eren said proudly while taking a bite from his sandwhich.
"I'm actually surprised with how fast this happened." Mikasa said a little confused.
"I don't know if i should be scared or happy." Armin said playing with his food, processing everything Eren had told him.
"Now if tou excuse me, I'll go to the bathroom." Eren said in a funny tone after he finished his sandwhich.

Not to far from them was Y/n sitting with her friends, that were talking about the same topic.

"Project? With Yeager?" Jean asked as he didn't want to process what Y/n said.
"Well, if Eren has good grades you should end up with a good grade." Sasha said and Connie nodded at her affirmation.
"Can't you have someone else as your partner?" Jean asked. "I really don't like that guy."
"Firsly, just because you don't like him it doesn't mean i don't like him as well. And secondly, if you want to deal with Mr. Ackerman about this go ahead because i will be not complaining in front of that man." Y/n said annoyed by the fact that Jean always has to somehow ruin the mood.
"Let's just hope for our good friend, Y/n that Eren is a good partner." Sasha said waiting to stop the tension between Y/n and Jean. "And let's hope he won't let her do all the work herself, unlike others." she continued specifically looking at the 2 males in front of her that did that before.
"Come on, salad, you, yourself made Y/n do a project by herself." Connie complained.
"Yeah, but that happened once."
"Why the hell he called you salad?" Y/n asked confused.
"Potato lost a bet with me and now she pays for my lunch and i can call her whatever i want without her complaining about it. It will be a beautiful week." Connie explained with a big smile on his face.
