Chapter 9
Everyone went very Quiet. They were trying to understand what Rex just told them. It was a lot to take in. It made some things make sense but made others things confusing even more. Sammy was the first one to snap out of his thought.
"Ok so Henry is the 'queen' but what does that mean exactly?" Sammy asked
The other nodded in agreement wondering the same thing
"It means the ink will listen and obey him with no problem and will do anything and everything in the inks power to keep it's queen happy" Rex said
This confused everyone, not sure how to feel about that.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Susie asked
"I'm not sure if there is a light way to put it but you, Sammy, Norman, Allison, and Tom are supposed to be dead." Tex said
"How can that be if we are still here?" Tom asked
"The ink is what's keep you all alive because you all mean a lot to henry and make him very happy and smile" Rex said
"Ok, but what does that mean for us?" Sammy asked
"Will with Henry being the Ink Queen, he can do two thing" Rex said
"And what's that?" Norman said
"One turn you all back human but he part of the ink forever, two free you all and let you go" Rex said
This made Sammy, Susie, Allison, Norman and Tom look at each other.so there was a way for them to be free and move on to the next life but the big question was could they leave Henry here alone. True it is the reason they were all stuck here, but that was because they made him very happy and he did deserve that. He was there for them when they were upset or got into fights. He broke it up and helped them make up. They looked at each other and nodded, Norman was the first to speak up.
"I know I'm not leaving Henry anytime soon" Norman said
"I agree he's helped us so much. We are not leaving now that he need us more them ever" Allison said
Rex nodded and the other all nodded agreeing with both of them.
"Henry is our friend and i know he do the same for us" Susie said
"Yup and besides there's no life without Henry because he makes us smile and feel happy" Wally said
"Yes you all mean a lot to him. You all make him feel very safe and welcomed" Rex said
"Will of course. I could see he been through something by the look in his eyes" Sammy said
"What does that mean Sammy?" Susie asked
"It takes a victim to know a victim" Rex said
"How is Sammy a victim?" Well asked
"I'm a victim of child abuse like Henry. The only difference is he was able to get out and be safe while i was stuck there tell i was 16 and just decided to run away" Sammy said
This shocked his friends but Norman and Rex. Norman and Henry know about what happened to Sammy. They didn't know this but it made sense why Henry was Sammy's first friend seeing they are victims of the same thing.
"That was Henry was my first friend while working here" Sammy said
"Yes, anyway I must go. My lover is calling for me. So Henry will be back in control" Rex said
