♤Hello, my Diamonds! And welcome to the second chapter!
Sorry that it's a little late. Some family friends are coming into town this weekend, so I've been cleaning my house, lol hopefully this doesn't become a regular thing! This chapter, once again, is probably a bit messy and/or short. So sorry in advance! 😅 Anyway I hope y'all enjoy the latest installment of "My pro-hero neighbor next door" 😊 Love you all 🥰♤
Your Pov:
"🎶....Nani wo sutereba akuma wo mo shinogeru
Inochi sae tamashii sae kesshite oshiku nado wa naiSasageyo! Sasageyo! Shinzou wo sasageyo!
Subete no gisei wa ima kono toki no tame ni
Sasageyo! Sasa-🎶"You groan as you shut off your alarm,
'I love that song but maybe setting it as my alarm wasn't the best idea'
you think as you stare at the time on your phone,
"4:00 am" you sigh and unlock your phone, click on (insert preferred music app), tap on your "Morning motivation ~ a comfort playlist" music playlist, get up out of your bed, and connect your phone to your portable bluetooth speaker and begin to start getting ready for the day.(♤If you would like to listen to the playlist, this story's version of you is listening to. Here's the link: https://youtu.be/6wAemCdidb0 Enjoy! 🥰♤)
You open your closet door and groan, as you stare at the practically empty hangers and remember that you still need to do your laundry, which has been accumulating in an ever-growing pile in a corner of your room for over a week.
You sigh and grab a gray turtleneck sweater, a pair of black pants, and a matching black belt with a gold colored buckle.
(Here's a link to a picture of your outfit: https://pin.it/fuPL9AE)
You grab your bluetooth speaker and walk out of your room, take three steps across your small hallway, and into your bathroom.
You get dressed and style your hair into a (insert your preferred messy/lazy hairstyle) and put on a bare necklace chain that your (insert your maternal/mother figure) gave you.
You walk out of the bathroom, and throw your pjs onto your large dirty clothes pile, and walk out into your small kitchen to make yourself breakfast.
(A teeny tiny timeskip brought to you by "the reader needs to do their dang laundry!!")
When you've finished eating your breakfast, you set your plate next to a sink full of dirty dishes.
"Dang! I really need to work on cleaning my apartment!" You say and glance over at the clock on your stove '4:30am' "And I need to work on my time management!" You say as you rush back into your room, quickly grab your purse, double check it to make sure your wallet is in there, unplug my phone, disconnect it from your bluetooth speaker and shove it in your pocket.
You run over to my door and hurriedly put your shoes on, and grab your coat off its hook. You then scramble back into the kitchen, and quickly grab your house keys off the counter and then head out the door making sure to lock it behind you.
(Another small timeskip brought to you by "the reader needs to clean their dirty dishes")
You hurry down the street and practically run when I see the train station. You scramble to go and stand with other waiting passengers.
You pull out my phone and check the time, '4:57am''
"Just made it '' You say with relief and stick your phone back in my pocket as you stand and wait for your train to arrive.(* A french accent* "A few moments later")
When the train pulls up, the doors open to let out a seemingly unending ocean of people coming back from their late night shifts and parties.
You board the train and find a seat near the middle of the traincar.
You then proceed to pull out your phone again and a pair of earbuds from your purse that you always keep on you, especially when you have to take the train, and connect them to your phone. You set an alarm on your phone to go off in 30 minutes, and open your (preferred music app) and tap on a random lofi playlist and hit play, closing your eyes and resting your head on the wall of the train.
You sit there like that, drowning out any and all other sounds and just focus on listening to music, listening to the rise and fall of the calming melody, until the alarm on your phone goes off waking you from your strance.
You turn the alarm off and disconnect your earbuds from your phone, and put them back in your purse.
You then begin to look around at the mass of people around you, you see a woman and her child sitting a few seats down from you, both of them peacefully asleep in the other's arms, you smile at the heartwarming sight.
You sigh, gripping your purse as the train comes to a stop letting a sea of people both out and in.
As you watch the crowd settle onto the train you see a tired and disgruntled looking man look around at the practically full car in frustration at not being able to find a seat.
You watch as he groans in defeat to go and stand at one of the standing poles and handles on the train. With barely any thought you quickly stand up and cover the seat you were sitting in with 'energy spikes' so no one steals it, and take a few steps over to the man, take a deep breath and tap him on his shoulder.
