Felix was tired and Hyunjin could tell. He expected Felix to fall asleep as soon as they got on the jet, however, he didn't expect Felix to look so cute.
"Are you ready to take off?" The flight attendant asked.
"Yes, we are... Uhm, is there perhaps a blanket?" Hyunjin asked softly.
"Yes there is, would you like me to get it?"
"Please, for him. He, uhm, gets cold easily."
The woman smiled softly and nodded.
Hyunjin winced as his phone went off.
"Chan, hey..." Hyunjin spoke softly.
"Hey, where are you?"
"I told you I have a business trip in Barcelona."
"Why are you talking so soft?"
"Uh, Felix is asleep. He is joining me." Hyunjin said.
"Uh-huh. So our daily session is a no go?" Chan asked.
"No, uh, we can still do it." Hyunjin said closing the file.
"You sure?"
"Yeah."
Hyunjin stood up and went to a seat further away, not wanting to bother Felix.
"So most of our talks lately have been about Felix. So how about we talk about your parents, how did they react to you saying you were getting married.?" Chan asked.
"Shocked. My father was obviously proud because it was expanding the business, however my mother she was worried because it seemed like I was marrying purely for business." Hyunjin said.
"That word, "seemed", why did you choose it?"
Hyunjin's mouth fell open a little.
"Because I knew I wasn't marrying for business but to protect him..."
"How have you been feeling about him?"
The male pursed his lips and glanced at his sleeping husband.
"Hyunjin?"
Chan could hear the younger's breathing pick up.
"Hey, Hyunjin, it's okay."
Hyunjin closed his eyes tightly trying to even his breathing.
"Hyunjin...?" Chan could here a soft but deep voice.
Chan cursed softly.
He didn't want Felix to see him like this but he couldn't do anything to calm down.
Felix's eyes widened with worry.
Standing up carefully he walked over to the older.
"Hyunjin, hey... Talk to me, what's wrong?" Felix said softly, kneeling down in front of him.
Hyunjin shook his head trying not to cry, his phone falling from his grasp.
"I'm scared." He said softly.
Felix held Hyunjin's hands tightly.
"Of what? How can I help Jinnie?"
"Just please, don't leave me... Please."
"I won't." Felix whispered.
Hyunjin pulled Felix and Felix stood up, only for Hyunjin to pull him into his lap.
"Just don't go..." Hyunjin whispered, squeezing Felix's hands softly.
Felix pulled his hands away scaring Hyunjin for a moment but when they wrapped around his neck he relaxed slightly.
"I'm not going anywhere, you're okay." Felix said, playing with the hair on the back of Hyunjin's neck.
Not ten minutes later did Hyunjin fall asleep.
Felix carefully slipped out of the older grasp and picked up the fallen phone, realising it was on a call.
"Hello?" Felix voice cut through.
"Hello? Hyunjin."
"No, Felix Lee."
"Ah... I'm a friend of hyunjin's Chan. Is Hyunjin okay?" Chan asked.
"Yes, he is. He fell asleep." Felix said.
Chan let out a breath of relief.
"That is good." Chan said.
"I would ask what happened, but I assume you can't tell me Dr Bang."
"You..."
"Your contact on Hyunjin's phone in Chan Bang and I only know of one within New York city. Individual and couples therapist Doctor Christopher Bang otherwise known as Chan." Felix stated.
Chan hummed.
"Well, you are correct, I can't tell you what happened. I can tell you though, that Hyunjin isn't as cold as you think."
Felix looked at Hyunjin and bit his bottom lip.
"I know. Inevitably if I tell my brother this it'll somehow come around to you- well not somehow considering you're my brother's therapist- anyways, I know that it is just a facade, at least I hope it to only be one.
I have had two of my friends, however, justify being unfaithful to him, one for more personal reason and the other because he wants me happy."
"Are you? Are you going to listen to them?" Chan asked.
"When you do enough digging yourself, you find yourself not wanting to listen what someone says about a certain person." Felix said softly.
Felix had a very interesting way with words in Chan's opinion.
"What did you find out?"
"I found that families, like, yours, mine, and Hyunjin's, socialise their children at the same events and the same school."
"Mm, I have to go, but please keep an eye on him." Chan said softly.
Felix smiled softly and nodded, "I will Chan."
With a last goodbye, Chan hung up.
Felix hummed and set the phone down.
He'll tell me when he is ready...
