(Y/n) laid comfortably on the tree branch, watching the ninja dance around the campfire. Celebrating a battle of loss, it confused her, but then again, it could be for a boast of morale.
After a while, the old man grew frustrated and yelled at his ninja. "We haven't gotten a single weapon, this is not the time to celebrate, we must rest."
"Come on Sensei, you gotta let loose, and besides, evil never prevails." The blue ninja reassured. The old man sighed, giving into his ninja's antics, and dancing with them. The girl found it silly, but it looked fun.
Everyone was partaking in the dance, apart from the white ninja, who only sat as he meditated. (Y/n) tilted her head, feeling curious of the ninja. She froze when he began to scan the area, his eyes landing in her direction. He couldn't see her, she made sure of that, so why was he looking her way? In the end, it didn't matter, he continued with his meditation, slightly nodding to the beat of the music.
After a long while, they all finally went to sleep. (Y/n) jumped off the tree, stumbling when she made contact with the ground. She bit back the yell, only a small whimper being heard. She looked back to the ninja, seeing they were all still sleeping.
She only needed the red ninja, how can she lure him to the temple? She can't just wake him up, he'll start yelling when he sees her, and that wouldn't be good.
He wouldn't yell if he saw his sister.
(Y/n) walked over the ninja to go to the nearby pond. She was tempted to step on the Sensei but decided against it, the laugh wouldn't be worth it. When she reached the pond, she took a look at her reflection.
His sister's figure wouldn't be difficult to replicate, her looks were basic, not too complicated. (Y/n)'s entire body was engulfed with a purple glow, keeping the image of the girl in her head, and once the glow stopped, her appearance changed.
Looking at the reflection, she thinks she did a good enough job. Black short hair, a bright red dress, mole on her cheek. Good enough.
"K. . ." Nervousness suddenly hit her. She didn't remember his name. "K-Kyle?" She questioned, not getting a response. "Kevin." Nothing. She gave up on the guessing game, grabbing a nearby rock and throwing it at the ninja.
"Ow!" He woke up immediately, rubbing his head. "Nya?"
With his attention on her, she started to run towards the temple, ignoring the throbbing of her leg. "Hey! Wait up!"
They were nearing the Fire Temple, (Y/n)'s vision blurring. When running across the bridge a small whine left her, feeling nauseous as the heat hit her.
She heard screams, blood-curling screams. A sadistic laughter that echoed in her mind. She focused on her breathing, noticing she was losing control of it. She only needed to bring the fire ninja inside the temple, after that, she could leave.
